New reward. There is now a Southwest Airlines $50 reward card for 1425 points. Limit 2 per MCR account.

Already sold out, despite the steep price.

I'll presume the steep price is inflation. The metric used to be 625/$25, or 1250/$50, so going from 1250 to 1425 doesn't seem to be that bad.

As per already out of stock... we had to presume that this would happen. A lot of points, not many prizes.

Only a few weeks ago I paid 500 points for a $25 visa card. The $50 WN card is 1425. That's not just inflation but a very fast increase. Since the prizes have been poor for the past year, I think people just take whatever comes along now at whatever price.

I still have coke caps; not enough to reach 1425 at input of 10 per day. Somebody can do that math, not me. :D But, if you already have a point balance that is close to 1000 or so and this award works for you, I have caps available (about a 1/2 shoebox full).

Blessings! Jan_believes

Fantastic. Something that is actually as good as cash.

Steep price? You gotta be kidding. We've had this discussion before on this thread.

You are getting something for nothing. I've been drinking coke for at least 30 years, and probably will for another 30 assuming I don't get knocked off early :D So getting $50 for free for drinking cokes that I would drink anyway is a great deal AFAIC. YMMV.

jan_believes Aug 31, 2008 2:53 pm

Yeah, I have been drinking....

...coke for about the same time except the years I drank (the old) TAB!!!! :D

Anybody remember that??? :o

Yes, but I mean steep relative to other prizes.

Bragging rights! My wife works in the special event industry. This weekend, she brought me three dozen of the upc codes from the 24-paks! Holy smokes, they are worth 25 points each. ^

:D

I thought you were coming here to share your codes (at least with me :p).

I guess not. :(

I went to the SC UVA game in Charlottesville and just in our tailgate place alone; so between myself and my kids, we found 606 points in 25 pointers, 10 pointers and caps.. and that was just what was out in plain site.. the place was littered with coke codes

Please don't ever mention that game again! Probably more like a scrimage for your team.

WHY would I want to BUY a $25 Subway card on eBay and pay seller

I am not sure what kind of mentaility you are referring to - I thought that Sun Country Airlines went out of business.

Gee, I've been to Vegas, New York, Wash. DC, Cancun, Cozumel...perhaps I should be tested for yo-yo-ism ;) !

Good to know. I thought they went out of business.

24-packs are 20 points. 32-packs (from warehouse clubs) are 25 points. Either way, you lucked out. :)
