Me, too. The question is: Enter some now so I don't hit the maximum weekly point entry total? Or wait and hope I can get them all in during a perhaps promo period!

Thanks! Our small town high and middle school's band and choir teachers always take the students to Cedar Point at the end of the year. I am not a theme park person and will not be going but I am ecstatic to be able to "pay" the way for a couple of the kids who cannot afford to go. I wish we could "buy" more than one ticket but using both my account and my husband's account at least we can furnish two tickets to the group.

Thanks for posting this. I missed it last year.

Cedar Fair point redemption available again this summer?

Last summer MCR offered one day admission to any Cedar Fair park for 250 points.

I hope that that offer returns this summer.

What a great redemption value!!

This is a better deal. If cap codes count, it's only 60 points that you "give up" to get the ticket.

The caps work, I used red cap coke, diet coke and sprite caps. :)

Kate

So it is a better deal than the redemption that they've offered before.

What is the largest number of points someone here has collected?

Using caps is best, but even if you use 20 12-pack flaps (worth 200 MCR points), it would still be better than the 250 points needed last year. IIRC, there was one time (or maybe two?) that MCR gave away free tickets to Cedar Fair.

The most I had in one account was ~4,000 when I first started the program. I focused on collecting and did not spend any points.

Cheapest way to get 40 codes for two free Cedar Fair tickets?

I am trying to calculate the cheapest way to accumulate 40 codes in order to get two free Cedar Fair tickets. Are there individual codes on each bottle of 20 oz, eight-packs of Powerade?

Eight packs of 20 oz Powerade are on sale at Meijer (Midwest grocery chain) for $4 each this week. If they have individual codes on them, I figure that I can buy five eight packs in order to get two Cedar Fair tix for $20 total.

Go to the MCR trading thread on Slickdeals, http://slickdeals.net/f/542767-my-co...no-ot?t=542767 , the current going rate for 20 cap codes is about a $5 Amazon e-gift code (not supposed to use cash or PayPal, go figure), so you could get enough codes for two Cedar tix for $10 out of pocket. As an added bonus the sellers typically just send the codes to you via PM so you don't even need to decipher/type in the codes yourself - instead you just cut and paste.

Cedar Fair promo:MCR members from Hawaii, Alaska are not eligible.

:(

Sadness for those rollercoaster fans in the 49th and 50th state.

Yes, but you can usually do better with 6 pack of .5L coke bottles, or sometime with 8 pack of 12 oz bottles.

I got mine at City Target, $3 for 6 pack but currently 25% off with cartwheel. Final price $2.25 for 6 pack.

Just be careful. The offer is limited to one per account. It also stipulates MCR members prior to 4/15 so new members don't qualify.

I have two Cedar Fair Ticket coupons I am not going to use. I would love for a deserving student to be able use them.

Seriously? That would be awesome. I will message you. I am not too savvy with flyer talk's private messages. Let me know if you do not receive one and I will try again.
