Despite the condescending Monday morning quarterbacking going on, I'm baffled that any reasonable person who read the following rules:
"Enter codes from any 20 participating beverages anytime between 4/15 and 5/25 for one admission to the selected Cedar Fair park located in the United States . . ." and had a reward appearing in their MCR account with an explicit expiration date of "09/05/2016" would think anything other than they have an amusement park ticket that they can use any time until the first week of September. |

I'm used to seeing warning from MCR about, "This award must be redeemed before you log-out of this session." So, I would redeem it immediately. I'd also consider that the demand for this would be high, and would want to redeem it ASAP.
It just amazes me that we've gotten so beaten down as a consumer group by these programs, that we actually look for ways to blame the victims in these scams. Or at the very least, act like we wouldn't fall prey to their doublespeak because we are somehow superior to someone else. |

No I get what you did, I did the exact same thing. Is MCR understanding that you actually GOT the award, not that you simply qualified to earn it?

I'm familiar with those types of rewards (enter a code and as an added bonus submit it for an entry in a sweepstakes, etc.), but that isn't what we are talking about in this case.

I'm just saying that I wouldn't have waited, and wonder why people would wait. I would guess the T&Cs probably said something about while supplies last.

The Minute Maid promo appears to be similar. Last night, I redeemed 10 caps for a $10 Fandango reward and I received a notification (in the upper right hand corner by the user name), as follows: "Congratulations! A free Fandango movie ticket is now available in your Unclaimed Rewards. Navigate to the Unclaimed Rewards tab in your Full Profile to claim it soon, as supplies are limited."

This redeeming (but not claiming) and then the reward goes out of stock has definitely happened in the past with MCR. A number of times this exact problem has arisen. In some cases the item was re-stocked and re-claiming was possible. Unfortunately, the normal solution (by MCR reps) was to return the points spent for the redemption. While not a park ticket, I would certainly request the points be added to my account (at least 60pts for caps) if a ticket will not be made available again in the future.

If MCR is incapable of doing the right thing and provide everyone that already redeemed their MCR codes the ticket they earned, there is a very simple solution. Since they seem to have plenty of Cedar Fair tickets that they are willing to sell for 1,000 MCR points, rather than return the 60 MCR points or more that were forfeited by customers pursuing this promotion, give all of them 1,000 MCR points and let them manually redeem for the amusement park ticket. Of course, based on my interaction with Coke so far, I'm sure that is beyond their problem-solving ability.

Reminder: today is the last day to get a $10 iTunes card for six diet coke caps. An e-prize, not MCR so if you have diet coke caps you have used on MCR already you can use them for e-prize since they use different databases.
text "BREAK" to the short code 26739. Then, input the requested information to confirm your date of birth. If you are eligible, you will be required to enter your Cap Code. Your Cap Code will be automatically validated and you will receive 1 entry into the Sweepstakes. https://cocacola.promo.eprize.com/br...ment/rules.pdf |

Changes afoot on status?
While my status shows up on mycokerewards, it seem it's impossible to earn status at the present. I can't seem to find anywhere to gaining status points. I wonder if mycokerewards is finally going away from social networking as a requirement for status..... or perhaps coming up with some tweaks.....
