ROBFW 5MB7F Codes from Mexico do not work either. |

I tried last summer and no go. Also tried to join the Canadian version of Coke Rewards and it wouldn't let me. Sheila |

Wow...I see where coke has added a lot of cool, new prizes. I guess that's the good news. Bad news is they are so high in point value only a select few have even a hope of getting them. I have never used any MCR points and have been fairly diligent. I am only at 4,600 points. Not even close to these new prizes.
Why couldn't they come up with some new stuff in the 3,000-5,000 point range? Bummed. |

Just something I've always wondered -- for bottles, why does Coke ask which brand they are when entering codes? It seems like even when selecting the wrong product, the points still go through.

On the other hand, the boxes or other packaging for multi-packs is printed specifically for a given sub-brand, and the code is printed directly on the packaging, so Coke can identify the sub-brand based on the code for multi-packs, which they can't do with bottle caps per the above. I'm very confident that they ask the question for market research only, not for any point-earning purposes (which is why you can answer any brand, or even "Don't Know," and still get points). |

If I had to guess... I'd say it's because the bottle caps are interchangeable for a number of their sub-brands, and they all come from one giant batch so Coke doesn't know which product you bought based on the cap. All red caps (found on many different sub-brands) are one batch, all green caps another, all large black caps (e.g. Minute Maid) another, etc.

I answer Diet Cherry, Cherry Zero, or Diet with Lime almost every time, even on the caps I find at recycling centers, to vote for my favorites ;) !
