Problem is not a slow down. Yeah it does that too. Problem is that it locks up on a blue screen and has to be reformatted and reload of software.
Oh, and I had to do it again today. So I have now confirmed the problem is on the coke website. A tech suspicions a virus on the site and it may even be unknown to coke. |
at the moment, the ONLY travel awards are an upgrade certificate from Avis and a $25 certificate from Hertz.
That's all there is. |

I know an FTer who gave up in Dec. by ordering 18 or so small teddy bears to distribute to local children. Then MCR brought back DL Skymiles, which he needed, for a few days!

I just keep on racking up the points for when....
the new awards arrive. If they are of any use to me, I will blow them all. If not, I'll keep racking them up for a really big award. Closing in on 11,000! Should be there in a week or so.

Since then I have been taking movie passes for 200 or 220 pts eac (200 for regular, 220 if you want the passes that let you get into the new movies that say "no passes" in the newspaper). I think that's a great way to spend my points. Movies are expensive, and it's nice to just pull two coupons off the fridge & go. |

Somebody got the last bunch of MCR/DL redemption codes and currently selling them off on eBay. it has pissed off Coke and Delta. I called Atlanta and was told now nobody gets any more I bet DL Revenue Protection asked them not to offer anymore.:p :td::td::td: Perhaps they'll change their minds, but it doesn't look like it. So, yamonjon it looks like the only real reward prizes left are a Samsung 19" Flatscreen HD LCD TV with intergrated ATSC tuner, HDMI interface, S-video PC inputs, PIP, etc. for 11,250 MCR points -- and a Toshiba HD DVD player for 13,125 MCR points. There's a bunch of advertising coke hats and leftover junk from the last promotion and THAT's IT. :p Bummer. :td::td::td: A few good sweepstake prizes like one for entries to win trip for 2 to Beijing Olympics... but do they really enter you in the running if you don't mail in an entry. But these sweepstakes etc are meant for suckers, fools and other assorted idiots who believe they have a shot.
