I am new to this forum and see a few references to 850 miles being redeemed.
Could someone please tell me about this 850 mile thing.

Baloo, MCR has just brought back an award which they offered Spring & into Summer 2007 (until they ran out) of 850 Delta miles for 335 MCR points.

I guess we never expected that Coke would have shut down the MCR website for scheduled maintenance close to the end of the day when activity would have been higher. Not just my six points dear, but how many other people were inconvenienced by this lack of good business sense.

Also a BIG THANKS to Boston_Bulldog for giving me the requested help that I sought.

I just now redeemed for another Delta 850 mile award. The redemption code's first two digits were "PC". Based on the current burn rate they will be gone sometime late tonight or early Sunday.

Calling them DID help for the 2 cap codes I couldn't get in that last double-points-day hour...went in 2 and 3 miniutes after... They did credit me the 6 bonus points....so I just squeaked over the next DL 850 threshold..just in time.

Inventory of Delta 850mile certs was about 3,400 a few days back, it is now 721.

Looks like DPD helped to drain them.

I was thinking about picking up a few, but opted for AMC tickets as I have one close to me. Wish the Cinemark ones would come back....or for that matter ANY decent reward again.

The 850 Delta miles do seem to be going fast. Yesterday, the first two letters were GG when I redeemed. Today, it's already in the P's.

Perhaps U should have picked up DL codes, then offered to trade them on tCC for AMC tix to those of us who will keep earning points after DL codes go Out Of Stock :rolleyes: !

I had 327 points :( after entering this afternoon's daily quota, so I called the # in Boston Bulldog's #1665, changing it to 866 the second time. I had a fridgepack code left over from a month ago which kept coming up invalid though every letter but 1 (G or L--not fully printed) was clear!
The CSR promised me 10 points within 7 days, but they're there tonight :), so I've grabbed my 850 DL!

BTW, my code begins with "RY" !

I was thinking of doing just this, I have a bunch of points that are jut building up in hopes of some reward that I want.. but they never seem to come

so I was thinking about getting a bunch of DL miles to trade.. just seems like a hassle.. but I guess that would get me something for all my points.. I better pull the trigger quick if I'm going to do this.. or just wait for the next batch ..

I have coke caps.....tons of them. Got discouraged: 1) Couldn't hardly read them 2) MCR zapped me twice to the combined sum of 348 pts due to inactivity.

This is just not an activity I can swear my allegiance to; I have too many other issues to consider.

Sorry, but I will not give them away except for a charitable purpose. Actually, I would prefer a mutual gifting of an appropriate recipocity nature. For example, drink chits would not benefit as I don't drink.

So many caps, so little time with just 10 a day entry, unless you have a long term goal interest and you don't really want to continue buying Coca-cola. In a month one would have 900 pts, right? Somebody take my caps but offer me something helpful in return, please.

I got 2 850s a few minutes ago, last one started with Y6N. Not much time left.

I don't see these awards as a great value, so I'm holding onto a few points in the hopes of something better rather than getting more of the 850 Skymiles awards. But at least I can hold onto these two for a while to see if they come in handy in a trade or for extending the expiration on my kids' Skymiles accounts.
