Out of my Element Feb 22, 2015 2:29 pm

And I just entered my Coke Zero caps on Friday. But the title of the page refers to "selfie", so if it's a social media thing, I wouldn't be interested anyway

I can't wait for social media to collapse and everyone who created it to go with it. LOL. Having said that, I'm 191 points away to get one more T-shirt and My Coke Points can kiss my Sprite. :D
Which reminds me. Time to shutdown that MyPoints account too. Cashed in my $10 Starbucks card.

*ugh*, you have to wait for an email that should arrive on April 6th before you can claim your 20 ounce coke zero coupon. Oh well, at least the 3 free coupons are easy to get. That is the only thing good about the eprize contest.

**Forgot to add..use red cap codes if you want the 20 ounce coke zero coupons.

I don't see the offer. Do you have a link?

Edited to add: Ah, now I think I see. If you click on https://cocacola.promo.eprize.com/2015ncaa/ and register and enter a code, afterward you're told you get a free 20 ounce coupon, but only after April 9th and only if you respond to an e-mail.

Key information:

Coupon Redemption: Each person who enters a Product Code during the Promotion Period will be able to claim a Coupon Special Offer, while supplies last, up to 3 of each type per person. If you enter a Coca-Cola® Product Code, you will be able to claim a coupon valid for a free 20 fl. oz. bottle of Coca-Cola Zero™. If you enter a Coca-Cola Zero™ Product Code, you will be able to claim a coupon valid for $1 off the purchase of 2 Fridge Pack™ packages of either Coca-Cola® and/or Coca-Cola Zero™. Well, if you do not mind a cheap-o coupon ($1 off two 12 packs) feel free to use a black cap. No idea if a flap will work

Woohoo. $25 GC. Not a bad ROI for 3 black caps.

Certainly a big downgrade from last year and the year before. Not tied at all to the March Madness teams. Not as many prizes as before; however, with a 7 seed team winning last year, I'd have to imagine that Coke ended up having to pay out more than expected.

Makes up for years of getting nothing from SPG's roulette promos, I suppose.

Cap Codes

What's the point of entering the cap codes for this "contest"? Entering them doesn't give you any points, but it appears that they still can be used on the Beta site afterwards. Do you have to use the cap first on the contest site and then get your points? Or does it matter which order you use them??

the two different sites use different databases so it makes no difference if you use the code on the eprize site first or the MCR site first. You should always save some caps after you enter codes on the MCR site as they can be used on eprize etc later. Saved me many a time having a stash of used caps on hand!

So now that Google has acquired Softcard technology and capabilities, does anyone know how to link the MCR card into Google Wallet?

Currently, I have my MCR card linked to Softcard so I can get 20oz bottles at Coke vending machines for 30 points.

I looked in Google Wallet and I couldn't find any "Merchant name" that represented Coke Vending for the MCR card. I was able to manually enter my MCR card number into the app but it seems like this is for reference only as it doesn't work with tap-to-pay at my go-to Coke vending machine for the "free" bottle like Softcard does.

Thanks for the heads up. Guess I'll use all those Coke Zero lids I have been saving for March Madness. Good thing the period will include two separate weeks.
