You keep saying politically correct - what on earth are you talking about? Donations to charities?

Thank you for asking. I've been wondering that too.
Worry not everyone. I'm sure you'll do well after I leave My Coke Points. |

One more cap to go! @:-) After that, I'm shutting down Coca-Cola's equivalent to Healthcare dot gov. LOL Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Sounds so damn familiar. :D

You clearly have no idea what "politically correct" actually means. Good luck cashing out so we don't have to hear your completely irrelevant comparisons any more.

A Hilton Diamond would drop My Coke Points too.
And you never know when a useful prize will pop up again, so why not keep up with it rather than leaving potential money (caps/flaps) on the table when the effort required for a non-power user to enter 1-2 caps a day is so very low. |
Thank you My Coke Points, found my last cap today!
I ran out of my car, grabbed the Powerade cap with a napkin, tossed it in the trunk, and entered it later in the day. A Member since Day 1 when 40K Hilton points and Waldorf bathrobes were given away. Capitalized on the Priority Club points of 28K that was given in a day after getting many (and I mean many) 20 coke can boxes going through recycling bins. But now, it's all over for My "New Coke" Points that changed their website to target incorrect social media groups. What a disgusting program this had turned into. Once it was unlimited points, then 120 points a week, then suddenly, 75 points a week, a ridiculous "Bronze, Silver, Gold" membership with nothing in the T&A as to how those points change or are different. Then the devalued prizes (worse than a collapsed currency) come and go. Too many charities. Even cities forcing covers on recycling bins, and super markets hiring "thugs" to clean up can-return recycling areas have made it a quasi-socialist revolution like Russia to keep people from getting rich. LOL E-Miles no different, but at least they coughed up 1000 US Airways Miles that merged with AAdvantage. But the worst on the list was MyPoints and their revamped site to hide rewards, give less points, jack-up redemption levels behind backs. Forget it. Well, now I have to get to the Admirals Club, and then to the Intercontinental. Thank you thread! My rant is done. ^ |
I don't blame you a bit, Spock Seat.
While not stalking away in disgust, I am scaling way back. I have a bunch of case codes and cap codes still to enter, but with almost no promotions (the 25 caps doubles from last month being the only one I remember recently) there's little motivation to do more than keep the account alive by adding a cap every once in a while. I'll probably enter the case codes at intervals during the year to make sure the points are available at Christmas in hopes of good gift cards again this year, but I'm no longer enthusiastic. |
I can't say I was ever enthusiastic to begin with, but I do keep an eye on this thread for whenever there are any interesting promos like Roo.

I'm glad Spock has broken himself of the disgusting and dangerous habits of darting into traffic and dumpster diving to collect Coke caps and enter them into websites for free stuff. And kept us up to date on this effort.
Live Long and Prosper! |

I used to scrounge caps at work out of the recycle bins, I don't bother anymore, I used to pick them up when I saw them, don't do that anymore, I have a cup for 12 pack codes that I buy anyway and for the powerade caps that my kids drink. I too have to vent, Its one thing for crappy rewards; i'm willing to wait but i really hate the new social media set up; I just hate it and hate clicking through; I never go for the points that come thru social media just because I don't want to reward coke for that stupid idea |
While I concur that turning this into an social media strategy vs sales driving (buy product, get rewards) ain't for me, I don't think the folks at Coke are going to be heartbroken that people are no longer dumpster diving as a way to rack up huge rewards.

Not necessarily correct, as Cocacola, in conjunction with 7/11 is offering a different bracket sweeps here https://cocacola.promo.eprize.com/bracketsweeps/

They are sending out emails to claim what-ever coupons you are due. Rumor is that if you won a fanatics card you do not get the email? Perhaps because your email is already on file? So far unconfirmed though.
