Erkk! That's entirely my fault. I thought I was posting in the user guide thread! Hence referring to "the wiki". Thanks for the polite call out (and finding additional helpful threads).

If moving messages is a thing then I agree with Mwenenzi that it would be a Good Thing.

Not even sure if this is the right thread to post this, but if there is a better one please advise.

So yesterday i finally called AA RTW desk and started the booking of my RTW. Found the flights, the dates were good and i was super stoked about this.

But today i get an email from AA saying "Your Around the World reservation is unable to be rated and needs correction."

So really on pins and needles.

Call AA RTW desk and ask what the issue is. Post here your routing and flights as well as what AA says is wrong, and we can advise if AA is correct or not, and if so, we can suggest ways to fix it.

The biggest difference that I saw is that airlines such as AY no longer can be used for 'A' inventory. While AY doesn't offer first class on their own flights, they do offer it on codeshares (e.g., LAX-LHR operated by BA). While EF still shows AY codes selling 'A', the AONEx rules say AY in first books into 'D', same as business, which makes no sense, but because of this JL refused to reissue my ticket with the AY code in 'A'. I had to accept the BA prime (which earns a tiny fraction when crediting to AA).

Is Fiji in the SW Pacific region for determining the number of continents, ie a minimum of xONE4?

Has anyone been able to book a DONE/AONE that includes FJ (presume more likely to be DONE). I was just making a change on an AA ticket and the very chatty and pleasant agent said that FJ had joined, which was good, but they weren't able to book it yet? Not sure if the agent just hadn't been told it was possible, AA's system's need an update, or something else?

I am plotting my next DONE, and need to decide whether we are going to do another island in the SW Pacific, or Australia..

I am a complete novice with RTW tickets and am in an early learning stage, but I saw FJ as an option while looking at DFW-AKL as part DONE on the OW page the other day. Not booked but seemed valid and went through to booking page.

FJ is a full member now and WY should be within the next 2 months. So it makes sense you're seeing FJ now.

FJ have been eligible for the DGLOBxx for quite a while, so that does allow them to show up for shorter RTW itineraries on the OW tool, but only until recently have they been ok for DONEx. If you're getting the OW tool to price for you then either you're within DGLOB34 rules or it's allowing FJ for normal DONEx (I suspect the later at this point)

15-Dec-25: Minor Changes - triggered by QF schedule changes

QF no longer flies its LAX-JFK rtn add-on to one of its t-pac flights, so the following rule has been removed:
QF operated services within USA (eg LAX-JFK vv) not permitted unless booked in conjunction with a QF operated and marketed online connection or stopover flight at LAX
QF has commenced PER-JNB flights, so the following exceptions to the general rule (only one trans-Australia flight allowed) have been removed:
EXCEPTION:
A. No restriction between SYD/MEL - PER for passengers originating in PER when in conjunction with travel to/from JNB
B. No restriction between SYD/MEL - PER for passengers originating in New Zealand when in conjunction with travel to/from JNB
Other minor changes to do with affiliate airlines.
