According to diffchecker, this is the only change.
4(e) Only one intercontinental departure and one intercontinental arrival permitted in each continent except as follows:
- Two permitted in North America.
- Two permitted in Asia
when one is for travel between the Southwest Pacific and Europe/Middle East.
- Two permitted in Europe/Middle East for travel to/from/via Africa. If travel is to/from Europe in both directions, itinerary may not include Mauritius/South Africa.
The indicated words have been removed. This is an improvement!
It makes a second visit to Asia allowable when:
One is for travel to Africa (e.g. AKL-HKG-JNB)
Point of Origin is in Asia and the itinerary is westbound, for example:
