Yes, that is what I did last time this promo was offered, but the last time there was no min so I sent my cellphone 3 $5 payments and got the $30. :D

Well, good, because that was generally my plan.

Of course, next time it will probably have a "3 seperate bills" requirement or something (if there is a next time). :)

Still haven't seen confirmation that this works for both personal and business accounts. I've only received 25K (well, 10K + 12.5K, missing the last 2.5K from CO). And can't tell which account those miles came from.

I'll give it the full 6 to 8 weeks after my first 60 days are up before I start making contact about the promos though.

Same here. In spite of the fact that the promotion page states "This exclusive offer is by invitation only and the cash award will be awarded to the Chase...customer who received this communication directly from Chase", clicking on the word "Enroll" does indeed allow you to then enroll for this offer.
Very nice find.

am i the only one who gets a "unable to continue" error msg at the screen where it says "apply reward to: " and has radio buttons for personal and business ? i've tried both and no luck.

It's right on CO's website. Did you even bother to look?

I reconsidered. Just applied online. It went very smoothly.

During the process all my questions got answered. The ($25 annual fee) "Continental Airlines Preferred Debit Card" came up as an option to choose. A space came up for typing in the coupon code. The promised 10,000 + 15,000 miles were clearly stated. I was given the option to not have checks printed. And a number was provided to call if any problems arise concerning receiving promised bonus miles.

I now recommend applying online. Fairly quick and easy.

What I see is a spot to enter your coupon code, then I see no reference that it is recognizing the code that I put in.
When in the process do you see the promised miles stated? Did you have to put your onepass number in anywhere on the online application?

I did look on website chase bank is refusing to honor it because it states expires 6/30 on coupon... spent two hours there with person fighting with chase help desk to honor it and they refused tooo... when you click on get coupon button

I applied a few weeks ago, so I no longer recall the process in any detail...but I believe that you would enter the coupon code in the provided space and then once all the boxes on that page are filled in you click continue and move on to the next page. (I don't recall any message saying that the code was/wasn't recognized.)

As for the miles, if I remember right there was a next-to-the-last page which summarized all the information, including the amounts of the promised miles.

As for the OnePass account number, I already had one. If I remember correctly (and again my application was a while ago) they may have asked for it - and if you do not already have a number there may be a place where you ask to be enrolled (or where they state they will enroll you).

Although I generated a 25K miles coupon and opened the personal checking account online, but I only got 15K CO miles (12.5K + 2.5K for Debit card). Anyone else has the same issue?

btw: When I opened the account online, its confirmation page did mention 15K CO miles only. At the time, I thought maybe it's a glitch. But by now several months passed already and it seems I will only get the promised 15K miles.

The promotion states: "Get 10,000 bonus miles when you open a Chase Checking account and make 5 debit card purchases or set up direct deposit.

Get another 15,000 bonus miles after your first qualifying purchase if you open a Chase Continental Airlines Preferred Debit Card..."

It seems that either you have not yet completed 5 debit card purchases or set up direct deposit - or else not enough time has yet elapsed since you've completed that condition. You should call the number they provided for questions regarding bonus miles: 1-877-242-7372.

Once again, did you bother to click on the link provided by onthego15? I did for curiosity, although I already did my two accounts this year. Where did you see an expiration of 6/30? If you care to go to the link, look at the fine print, point it out to the bankers, I am sure they will agree an expiration of September 30, 2010 means just that and the coupon is valid. Absolutely no need to fight!

Clicking on the link for the business account it states 9/30 however clicking on the generate coupon link it there still states 6/30.. I am seeing the same thing.
