Just click on the application and check it out. One thing I found out, you have to live in a certain state. I am ineligible for a business account but I did get a personal account. The T&Cs do list the eligible states. And I did call and tried everything I could but they said no way.

How did you resolve this? By calling 877-292-4273?

Thanks much!

Yes, that is probably your best bet. My wife & I were both missing some miles from accounts we opened in March 2010 (we had also opened earlier accounts in Dec 2009 with miles posting in 2010) and we worked it through that phone number (they are in Minnesota I believe). You still have your tracking number on the sheet that the banker gave you? You'll give them your debit card number & tracking number and tell them that you are missing miles for opening the current account. They'll open up a case and get back to you in a few days. Probably smart just to tell them that you are missing the miles - don't bring up the whole issue about which calendar year your previous set of points posted in and don't bring up your older accounts. Just focus on your current account. They'll do the leg work and get back to you. I found them very good to deal with on the phone and responsive. Please let us know how it works out.

Assuming they are open late, I will make the call today after work. Yes, will certainly post back with the results. And no, I did this over thep phone so I don't have any tracking number but did get 2500 miles for debit card. Thanks so much for the response.

Look forward to hearing your results.

Not me, I'm missing "Acquire the Chase Continental Airlines Preferred Debit MasterCard®" which was registered by Continetal for another bonus on 5/25/2010. I sent in an email asking about it last week 8/4 and so far only recieved a ticket number.

I also receive the Mileathon bonus points on 5/28/10 but not the miles. To what address did you sent an email to?
Who do I talk to?? :)

Exactly 8 weeks since opening my accounts I called the 877 #. I'd received 25000 miles but it was unclear whether they came from personal, biz or a mix of the two.

A bit of research and the phone rep learned the 25K were from my Biz account and the 25K for my personal account were "missing." Took my number with a promise to call back within a few days while she and her manager work this out. I never got that call back but didn't care as the missing 25K posted at random intervals the following day.

I finally made the call today and was given the :td: Because my last account was opened in Dec 09 and miles from that account deposited in Jan 10, I would not be earning miles from the account I opened in spring 2010. She did say she could put in a note to research further and I asked her to do that. I should hear back in 48 hours and will report back to this group.

I seem to be in a "bad luck" phase lately :(

That's odd. Above, Splittin' Aces mentions that he managed to get the miles this year despite receiving the previous miles in January.

Hopefully you get some positive news in 48 hrs.

I hope it works out for you. DeaconFlyer (post #1027) and decibel08 (post #1302) reported the same results as I did.

Will certainly report back.

I had 2 accounts open in Dec. '09 but only 10,000 for the business account posted in 2009. The remaining 40,000 for those accounts all posted in 2010 but I still got the bonuses for additional accounts opened in 2010.

I predict that what the lady on the phone told you was merely her opinion and was not authoritative. I would dismiss what she told you for now and just sit tight for the results of the investigation. Be aware though that I have went through this twice this year with positive results both times but, one time 48 hours meant 48 hours however another time 48 hours meant 2 weeks. But in both cases the outcome was positive.

Thanks so much for the note and for providing your data point. I don't mind waiting for 2 or 4 weeks, as long as things work out. Thanks to everyone on FT.

Anybody have any additional advice for the problem that the business account coupon still shows June as the expiration date?

We actually NEED to open a business checking account. How ironic is that? All these accounts and stuff just to get miles, and now we are actually a legitimate customer, and we can't seem to figure out how to make it work, because the coupon isn't updated!

The first page says it's valid through Sept 30. If you open the account online and enter that coupon code it will tell you if it works. At the end it gives you a tracking number and confirmation of your bonus offer to print. I'm sure you're fine.
