has anyone successfully opened both a personal and business checking account for separate 25k bonuses ? i noticed in the terms for each it says "this bonus mile offer is not available to customers with an existing chase checking account." there is no mention of differentiating between personal and biz.

thoughts ?

Since the terms of these coupons stated that customers with existing checking accounts aren't eligible - will we need to close these accounts by the end of the year in case a similar 2011 promo has the same terms?

Success - Shorted 2500 miles
 

Opened my account at chase and within 10 days the miles posted to my account. I received 10k for the account and 12,500 for the debit card usage. I am still not sure why they shorted me 2500 miles. Anybody have this happen to them?

the 2500 comes from CO...and in my case it came much later. Like 6-10 weeks.

You should see the last 2,500 on your statement that you receive from Chase. Mine didn't show up until my second statement closed, but YMMV.

I'm trying real hard to do that as we speak, asking me for paperwork and all, will keep the forum updated.

i opened a biz one successfully and am now waiting a couple weeks for my existing personal acct (opened for cash bonus back in december) to reach 6 months so i can close it and open a new one with CO miles bonus. chase must hate me.

has anyone opened a new CHASE account recently with the 25k CO bonus?

I got a tracking number for the miles, just not sure how to set it up with Continental... do I open a new One Pass account with them... where do I plug in the tracking number? Sorry, its not obvious.

The tracking numbers themselves have no apparent real world purpose. I guess they are just for show, but the letter they are on is an indication you have correctly been entered into the promotion. If you do not already have a CO Onepass account, a new one will automatically be created for you within a week or so. If you do already have a Onepass account they 'should' find it automatically within a week or so. Just sit tight and wait a little. You don't have to do anything with Continental unless Chase screws it up.
