For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:
Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.
If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

$631 for 18K PQM; https://www.google.com/flights#flt=E...021*.USD.63031
You will need three such trips, or two trips plus one with 11,170 PQM.

It will be very touch to ride 777-300 (3x4x3) in economy for SFO-TPE segment. 47K are a lot of miles to fly for, unfortunately. Perhaps, it is wise to save $2000 for buying up to First class, instead of 1K status!
Is it worth it to stretch for Plat (over Gold)? [2017 Consolidated]

My disappointment with 1K, How to get more out of your 1K status.

Trying to qualify for Platinum again
Departure Airport: IAD or DCA
Miles Needed: 14,500
Required Spend or Budget: Will need $2,800
Available Travel Dates: Fri-Mon work best, but I could swing a trip for one or two nights (at most) during the week if there's an amazing deal. Available most weekends.
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Prefer UA but fully willing to do *A partners as long as I get PQD
Route(s) You've Already Searched: I would prefer staying in the US and not doing anything longer than one night. I've looked at DC-West Coast F fares. I have, however, also looked at Europe J fares or Premium Economy on LH/*A partners (although I'm not sure if it's possible to book premium Y on UA.com and get PQD). If I did Europe, I could do a Fri-Sun/Mon trip to make it a little nicer than a same day turn (although I am willing to do this too). Least preferable, but am willing to do Asia too if the deal is right.
So in terms of most desirable to least:
1. US day trips or one night trips in F
2. Europe in J or premium economy. At most two nights in Europe (on top of the night lost to the redeye flight)
3. Asia in J or premium economy.
Thanks in advance.

Departure Airport: YYZ
Miles Needed:10K
Required Spend or Budget: $1500
Available Travel Dates: Friday - Mon Work best but can work weekday and can even do same day returns. Trying to get Air Canada 35K early status (pre Oct 15th)
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Required AC
Route(s) You've Already Searched: YYZ - LAX, YYZ - YVR - LAX
Currently on 25,111 miles and 4K spend with AC and trying to get early status before family trip on 16th Oct. Looked at Comfort fares and it seems like I need to do 2 x LA trips to get the 9,900 miles. Would prefer to just do a single run instead of multiple if possible.
Only unavailable dates are 11 Sept - 20th.

Departure Airport: YYC
Miles Needed: 5000 AQM (Air Canada)
Required Spend or Budget: < $1000
Available Travel Dates: Flexible until December
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Star Alliance
Route(s) You've Already Searched: YYC–YUL in October
I'm currently anticipating I'll be short by up to 5000 AQM for Air Canada Altitude E50K. Looking for opportunities to narrow that gap, preferably with weekend trip(s).

This option to Spokane will work for about US$505 and 15 hours flight.
https://www.google.com/flights#flt=Y...450*.USD.50450
This one is even cheaper, for US$400.

Close to 1MM, need help getting over top
I am currently at 936,000 miles or so on UA. I took a job with DL a couple years ago and my UA travel came to a screeching halt as my wife and I travel DL exclusively (DL employee benefits are quite generous).
My wife is planning to get some work done on her knee this fall and I thought I might take the opportunity to punch out the remaining 64K miles to once and for all reach 1MM.
I was very disappointed to learn that basic economy fares do not count toward lifetime status as I have always been paying my own way and using rock bottom fares, so I'm guessing I'll have to up my game a bit.
I can start and end these runs from just about anywhere in the world. Any ideas how I can get a cheap 64K BIS miles?

likely need visa for china, but $472 for 18.8k miles. need 4 trips = $1888
https://www.google.com/flights#flt=E...101*.USD.47101
maybe no visa for taipei? $589 for 18k miles (19k if you go via HOU). need 4 trips = $2356
https://www.google.com/flights#flt=E...821*.USD.58861
make sure you do UA metal (aka no ANA codeshares via TYO)

If you do not have checked-in luggage, after arriving at SFO, you can do same-day change via ORD to get more PQM.
