For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Hi, I have a $711.76 UA credit I need to buy by August. Any suggestions for the best mileage deal from COS/DEN. TIA

Do you a) want to go far (i.e. earn more PQMs/BIS miles?) b) sit in J? c) leave COS/DEN and fly to an exotic (international) destination? d) transport multiple persons in your family (or others if you care) to elsewhere in the United States?

All are feasible and some are less feasible. What is your primary priority/objective? Secondary?

UA Mileage runs July 21 - Aug 6 >3cpm from LAX

If I have up to 3 days for a mileage run out of LAX with $1,000 limit, what do you recommend? Or, is summer not a good time to find these deals and I need to wait until September?

Dates are flexible.

Departure Airport: IAH
Miles Needed: Looking to bolt on miles to a run to the UK
Required Spend or Budget: Under $2000
Available Travel Dates: Sept/Oct/Nov 2018
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Ok, but must be PQM

I need to spend 3 or 4 days in the UK later this year. Interested in bolting on a few legs to make the most of the trip. I can use any UK airport, but need to depart/return to IAH.

Summer is typically not a great MR time. Also, to clarify, you are looking for under 3cpm???

UA LAS - ? MR in next 10 days

Departure Airport: LAS
Miles Needed: As many as possible
Required Spend or Budget: Lowest cost
Available Travel Dates: Now - 4th July
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Codeshare OK

Route(s) You've Already Searched: LAS-HKG , LAS-FLL

I'm on vacation in Vegas until July 4th, and kind of bored. So I thought I have time for a MR - but flights out of Vegas seem to be expensive no matter where...

This doesn't qualify as low cost, but it fits your other two criteria of many miles and available now from LAS:

UA/DL J - LAS-PEK - from $2245

Departure Airport: TYO (~Aug) WAS (Sep~Nov)
Miles Needed: 5000 PQM
Required Spend or Budget: As cheaply as possible, up to $350
Available Travel Dates: Weekends (ex TYO/WAS), if ex WAS, preferably 10/6 - 10/9, or Thanksgiving
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Codeshare OK

Route(s) You've Already Searched: TYO-GUM, TYO-HKG, TYO-SIN, IAD-LAX/SFO

Plans to travel to Europe this summer fell through, so I'll be 5000 PQM short of 1K before I next fly TPAC out of the US. The cheapest I've found is $178 for IAD-SFO-SLC-DEN-IAD, with a couple of 45 minute layovers thrown in between. The number of options is making it hard for me to figure out where to start - hoping others with experience can suggest possible routings to maximize efficiency.

An international itinerary if out of Japan would be an added bonus, so that I could do some duty free shopping before I fly.

Thanks in advance for any input!

If out

Departure Airport: IAH
Miles Needed: 20,000
Required Spend or Budget: Low Cost if possible.
Available Travel Dates: Weekends in Oct, Nov, Dec
Required Metal or Codeshares: United Airlines

I am looking at all my travel this year and I should be about 80K by the end of the year, so I would like to get those last 20K if possible for 1K on United. Just trying to see what I could possibly the last 3 months of the year. I really need to try and keep these to weekends though. Thanks in advance!

A couple questions:
  1. Are you really only looking for flights on UA, or anything that will earn PQM? Codeshares are not okay?
  2. Have you satisfied the PQD requirement for 1K?
  3. What does "low cost" mean to you? That's a very subjective concept.

Mileage Run from IAH or AUS - HELP PLEASE

Departure Airport: AUS
Miles Needed: 7500
Required Spend or Budget: Under $850, pref less for multiple runs - Ideally looking to add in extra 20,000 miles
Available Travel Dates: July 27-30, Aug 10-13, Aug 2-5 - open to Fri-Monday throughout the end of the year
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: UA an any airline earning PQMs for United miles

My job doesn't have me traveling as much, so I need to add in some mileage runs for extra PQMs and miles to ensure I hit my 1K status this year also. I don't mind staying a night somewhere if it's a cool city to visit. Open to shorter runs in business class as well.
