Even if it was, shouldn't it reset to zero this year as we are in 2020?

And no, last year looking at my portfolio I only stayed 31 nights.

This has been mentioned many times in numerous threads. No longer allowed to make snarky comments about Marriott IT, so let’s just say that Marriott is diligently working on fixing this.

3 NIGHTS THIS YEAR - 7 nights to Titanium

Just logged in to look up some previous stays, and I noticed the following: 3 NIGHTS THIS YEAR, 7 nights to Titanium.
Is this a glitch of the system, or am I misunderstanding how Bonvoy membership levels are assigned?

Lucky you My app tells me that I'll need 20 nights this year for Titanium

Scrolled through the 1st 2 pages and didn't find similar situation. But indeed likely it's an IT issue rather than me being lucky? ;-)

Anyone else not getting stays posted? My first stay of the year (Marriott hotel in London / checked out early Monday morning) hasn’t posted yet. I realise that this is only four days ago but my stays post within 48 hours of check out without fail usually and the Marriott Marble Arch is as corporate Marriott as they come.

This of course has had a knock-on effect in the qualification for the lucrative 2000 bonus points I’m due for my 4th stay in the promo period in that the promo has ended and I’ve not got my 2000 points. Oh, the anguish.

Update: within minutes of me asking this question, the stay appeared. My world is calm again. Sorry for raising the level of anxiety here.

I selected 'five elite nights' as my choice benefit this year, and received the confirmation email on Jan. 12. The terms and conditions say this will occur in 48 hours. My nights balance has not yet been updated, but my total nights to date has 5 nights added.

I earned platinum right on Dec. 31st 2019 with 51 nights. My platinum status was updated a few days later in early January, but I wasn't able to select the choice benefit until Jan 12. 2020. I assumed then that the 5 elite nights would apply for the 2020 year, was I incorrect? The eligible status year should be 2020, not 2019, as my platinum status only became active in 2020. ?? Having 5 elite nights added for the 2019 year, in 2020, is completely useless and makes no sense.

From the terms and conditions:

E. Five Elite Night Credits

(1) Upon an eligible Platinum Elite Member selecting the Five Elite Night Credits as his/her Annual Choice Benefit, the Platinum Member will have his/her Member Account credited with five (5) bonus Elite Nights which count toward earning Elite status and Lifetime Elite status. Elite Nights and Elite membership status are subject to the Program Rules in section 4.2.b.

(2) The five (5) Elite Night Credits will be reflected in the Member Account within forty-eight (48) hours of the receipt of the confirmation of the Annual Choice Benefit selection.

(3) Elite Nights that are awarded to an eligible Platinum Elite Member as the Platinum Elite Member's Annual Choice Benefit will be awarded in the Eligible Status Year for which the Elite Nights were earned, regardless of when the Platinum Elite Member selects the Five Elite Night Credits as his/her Annual Choice Benefit. For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Calendar Year in which the Annual Choice Benefit is earned is the Eligible Calendar Year for which the Elite Nights will be credited toward earning Elite membership status.

Sorry, you were wrong. Small comfort, but many people make that error.

I'm Stupid - Selected the Wrong Annual Benefit

Thank you Christina
Do you happen to know when that review process would be completed? So no reason to panic if the counts for a number of nights to reach a certain status and the lifetime year count are not updated yet?

Thanks!

Has anyone's count gone up who didn't already have it correct by January 3rd?

Not me

I don’t think my prior year went up either, I am LTT so not sure I really care, but it would be nice to know that Bonvoy could tackle a problem like this, imagine if they had to launch the space shuttle? Ok done ranting today, I could get started not he BRG joke?

My count is still at 9 years Platinum or Higher, which is what it has said since late January, 2019 :-(.
