I have noticed that too. The first few days' stays have still not posted while my stay from yesterday has posted. Involved 4 different properties in Ecuador and Mexico.

You may fill out a missing stay form online if it has been at least 10 days since you checked-out. Or, if you could forward a copy of your hotel folio to us via below email address, we are also happy to assist.

I have two stays so far this year. Neither one posted automatically.

One of those is outside of the 10 day waiting period. I submitted the form with full details and with my receipt.

I received a response yesterday: "everything has been corrected, so sorry, just wait 24 hours for your account to be updated".

Today, when I check my Bonvoy account:

- the points total has increased and appears correct. (Seriously, though, it’s pretty much blind faith at this point. I’d need to be a CPA to figure out how many points I should receive.)

- the nights total has not changed at all. It still shows zero nights (other than my Bonvoy credit card 15 night credit). It’s wrong.

- the dollar spend dropped from $449 to $40!? It should have gone up. It’s wrong. The spend total is important for me, because I should make Ambassador level this year.

I am beyond frustrated.

Stays are not posting automatically.

Corrections are being done — wrong.

It’s absolutely, utterly ridiculous. I don’t have the time or patience to supervise my Marriott account or to keep on asking for corrections (and for corrections to corrections), but apparently I need to.

Give it another day. Marriott posts stays piecemeal. Sometimes the number of days goes up before the points do, or vice versa. Sometimes the app posts first, sometimes the website posts first.

It's a great IT system. Gets everyone all worked up, then says "just kidding"!

(I was trying not to make any snarky IT comments as requested in another thread because it upsets some of our readers. Did I succeed? )

Please accept our apologies for the inconveniences.

2 stays haven't posted and counting since hitting Tit..

I've emailed numerous times...no response. Have I now entered the Marriott IT netherworld?

How long has it been since your stays? If it is 10 days or more and MR hasn't responded, try reaching out to the Marriott Lurkers on FlyerTalk. They are generally very helpful and responsive. They have multiple handles but you can try this one to start Marriott Bonvoy Lurker II

P.S. I suspect your obtaining Titanium and the stays not posting is just a coincidence. It is probably some other general IT issue delaying the posting of your stays.

Two of my last three stays never posted (unusual, as stays normally post for me). Had to submit the missing stay request online after the 10 day period. Generally posted within a few days after that.

My stay posted at the RI Capital View, but the 250 points I was supposed to get for passing up on room cleaning during my stay.

If extra points are missing do I have to go through the same procedure as for a missing stay? Do I need to wait as long?

What about hotels that offer "Member Rate" bonus points? I've stayed at 2 hotels this year (both in New York) that lured me in with these rate promotions offering 2,000 bonus points per night. It's been 10 days since the first stay and they never gave me the points. In the past I've sent in a request online to ask the folks at the call center to contact the hotel to give me the points so I'm assuming that it's the individual hotels here that are screwing up (on purpose probably so as to not actually give us the points)? Or is it a Marriott corporate issue? It's tiring to always have to send an online request-----I don't call in because my calls go to India and that's just a whole other process and time wasted to deal with that.

If it’s the Courtyard promo, there’s a thread on here about how the bonus never posts. No idea who’s at fault. I’ll stop short of calling it a scam.

Edit: Found the thread!

Thanks. No it's not a chain wide promo but rather specific hotel properties (say a Fairfield Inn in New York) that's offering a special rate for Bonvoy members with the additional bonus points per night (usually for weekend stays or specific dates during a slow period). This is going to be the third (and probably fourth) times in the past year that I have to follow up on getting them and it's getting really frustrating.

Hi transportprof,

I'm sorry to hear you didn't get your Green Choice bonus points. If you send a Private Message, or email us at [email protected] with your Marriott Bonvoy number, full name, and the confirmation number for that reservation, we can get those added for you.

Thanks,

Robert V.

Hello manico,

I'm very sorry for any frustration. Please send a Private Message, or email us at [email protected] with your Marriott Bonvoy number, full name, and the confirmation numbers for any reservations missing the bonus points, and we'll get them added for you.

Elite Welcome Points Not posting

I've been a LifeTime Plat for about 6 years now and stay about 75 nights a year with Marriott. The trend I see recently is not giving Elite check in bonus points. In my last 7 stays, I only got them 3 times. Of course after I fumble around with trying to contact the hotel direct and/or working with Marriott on Twitter I have been able to finally get what I was owed. However its a huge waste of time and wondering if this is something others are seeing?

The hotels and locations are very diverse. From Ritz to Fairfield Inn. From NYC to Orange County.
