The real question is What if USPS lost our checks? Who should we talk to?

Now, all the electronic payment systems are big jokes. If you ever get problem with Paypal and want to talk to someone or even receive an email response, never.

I did a stop payment on my BB payment and was refunded the full amount within about 4 business days. Still waiting on hearing back from serve about stopping that payment.

Mine is already delivered back in December 5, but it never got credited to my account... Do I want to call amex and get under RAT team's eyes or do I want to lose some several thousands...?

Get your money back.
There is no guarantee that the rats will look, and even if they do, that they will act.

Even assuming the worst, that the rats look and act, you have just lost a liquidation route, which will hurt, but not as much as losing thousands :o

Undelivered checks/Billpay::

I have been using Serve to make payments to Amex CC for several months.
I scheduled a payment on Dec 11, similar to some of you it was not posted yet until end of Dec, hought I will wait if anybody comes here with an update.

Got a letter and the check (sent by Serve) from Amex CC saying that payment not processed because it was missing the 15 digit A/C no. and check shows to Account #0.

I go into Serve, my bill pay, payee and surprise/shock- my saved payees - Amex CC has everything but a blank A/C no
.I have no clue, how this happened and in the first place, why wasnt there any error when I attempted to make a bill pay.

Called up Serve, long wait (25min), ,explained the situation to the first line of rep - said i could stop the payment but had to be dealt with the Dispute dept and transferred me for another (45min) wait.

On transfer, all she said was if you want to dispute, we will send you an email. No case no. or an acknowledgement for the call was given. Crossing my fingers.

So, PLS double check your saved payees before submitting any BP.

Update 1: got an acknowledgement email saying they are investigating and to wait for another email.

Meow that's my worst fear! Why oh why did they break the old system and delete our digital payees? And am I the only one who finds it ridiculously convoluted to delete a payee?

The Amex prepaid programs are managed by Incomm. The RATs only play with the credit accounts.

I'm trying to understand how it's possible that I did over $100k on 2 serve cards and was still able to make online debit card loads to my cards before 1/1/2021. I even maxed it out at $1k each. Both same SSN.

Good for you !! Your post is why we all keep doing this :D

However.....
I am wondering how people who took care of plague infected people in the middle ages managed to survive without perishing themselves ???
Or.....how soldiers managed to jump out of the initial landing crafts on Omaha beach on 6/3/1944 and not get shot ???

There always will be people who survive events......no matter how poor the odds of surviving them are.

When all one hears about is the success stories, one tends to dismiss the failures, who may never get a chance (or want) to tell their tales of woe. ;)

@radonc1

Sooner or later the MSers all die. The question is who dies earlier or later....

$$ can be made elsewhere. Some trade Bitcoin and some trade Tesla.

I still have a couple of those cards that just collecting dust. I can certainly make 1,000 points easily each month without even leaving my chair. But my lazy bones do not want me to move....

Wish you the best luck, as radonc1 said. Also I take a huge grain to all other people said in public forum....

I had a weird issue at a couple of Family Dollars today. Several Metabank Visa cards had errors reading the magnetic stripe, or at least that's what the error message said. These cards all came from Stop & Shop on the same purchase. A Metabank MC worked just fine. Did I just get really unlucky with a batch of defective cards or is there more going on?

Hard to say. Some of the DG and FD stores have old card readers. Sometimes you'll have to try several times. Or try another store.
