Do you use the pay a person instead of pay a business then put in the credit card's address? I don't see a manual way to add it otherwise.

Hello Folks - I was able to load my wifes serve card at walmart this weekend . However post load i am unable to send money using her card to my account which i have been doing for several years without any issues. There is no shutdown email or any restriction on my or her account however whenever i go to transfer money it gives me the error " We are experience technical difficulties at this time, please try again later " . Can anyone who faced this error before tell us what is going on ? getting the same error since the weekend

Does office max vgc work at Walmart cash register for serve reload? If yes, how much per swipe? I tried at MC for $200 and it didn’t work like many have report.

Yes it does.
Try loading $198 and split into two $99 loads which is the new max.
Of course YMMV.

recklessmax did you ever get a resolution to your issue? i'm having the same exact issue with my serve account: "Due to technical difficulties we are unable to process your request at the moment. Please try again at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience."

not sure if it's a sign of pre-shut down.

I am an authorized user on a credit card. I am trying to add the credit card to my serve account but it says this card is not able to be added. I know the main user has a serve account also with his card already in serve. Is it because its the same credit card number?

Not sure if this is a solution for you guys...a few months ago I was getting the same error. I called in to see what the deal was. The transaction I was trying to submit was going to take me over my $5k monthly bill pay limit.

Yes, even on the website, it is possible to add a cc/merchant bill pay manually, but unfortunately that means that payment gets sent out via snail mail instead of electronically. I'm not too comfortable with that.

This is not always the case. Some like Amex and Chase will end up with electronic payments. I guessing their system must recognize some manual inputs and end up sending an electronic payment anyway

I remember I was unable to add a CC until I uploaded a picture of my driver's license.

Just wonder if any active Server user have had difficulties in adding new payees. On the BB side, it has new interface and the system can't recognize most of the account numbers. It gives error of Invalid Field....

Can't add new payees.

Can't add new payees even before the new interface came out for my account.

Which serve should I apply to load money at Walmart? Information in the wiki is quite outdated.
The blue serve has $6.95/m fee but can be waived with direct deposit. The card reload fee is "up to $3.95". Is load money at Walmart free? Is so, this one is the best option?
Then the green serve offer free reloads but has $6.95/m fee.
The last serve offers cashback and need to pay $7.95/m fee. There is no point to get this one as we don't plan to use this card for cash back.

The best Serve for loading purpose is the "Green" version. It has a monthly fee, but loading is free. It is very similar to Bluebird, but you can load at DG or FD for no fee. I'm not sure if anything has changed recently.

The good thing for Serve is that, you can load Vanilla GCs at FD/DG. This is still called Vanilla loading at stores.

I have not used Serve for a couple of years. It is subject to the same shutdowns, just like BB.

I just updated the wiki. Most of the info actually is still valid. So I only added the top section. Serve is an old card and it is impossible to make is 100% perfect. Also, not a lot people use Serve any more. Clear lack of interest here.
