Thanks a lot for the info! Now a related question that may not be suitable for this thread (for which I apologize): Do I need to add my father as an AU before using Walmart Billpay via his Walmart account under his name?

You can ask in WM BP section. I believe you need the names matched with BP..... I do not use WM BP.

thought someone here might know what the secret AMEX zip code is for serve to get it to work

As Serve and BB are similar, does Family Dollar allow reloading of Bluebird cards also? I typically stick to MO's, and have loaded BB at WM sparingly.

There is a loading fee every time you use BB anywhere not at WM.... Not worth it.

I am not sure if Metabank Mastercards are expected to work at Dollar General, but I tried it, and they did not.

You mean to load Serve? IIRC DG made a change to their system earlier this year that blocks loads from Metabank cards. Amazingly they still work at FD but not DG. Of course YMMV.

Can I pay Chase personal credit card bill thru Serve's bill pay? Would such payment trigger a shutdown by Chase?

I’m not sure why Chase would mind. At least, it has gone well for me with Amex and Discover. Coincidentally, I tried with Apple Card today, but Serve didn’t like the account and zip code combo, maybe because Apple for online uses a separate credit card number.

Very surprised I could add payee from automated list. No manual entry required, no ZIP error

Wasn't paying attention to how much I've withdrawn this much from the ATM on my Serve Card. Realized today I'm at about $2150 for the month of December. Is the card not hard-coded to restrict withdrawals of more than $2k, and do I have a shutdown incoming?

what zip codes do yall use for chase, citi, amex for serve billpay

ricohitman Dec 18, 2020 1:34 pm

I have 1 serve payment that says delivered 12/15 that hasn't posted and 1 BB payment that says delivered that I sent 12/9 that hasn't posted. Anyone else dealing with this?

Add manually. Do not waste your time guessing the zip of the payees. BB/Serve has been broken for some time.

Sent payment Dec 1, arrived Dec 19, not yet posted. Manual (not electronic) delivery to Barclays business card. Both sides chalk it up to USPS delays

Does Serve have cash withdraw limits? I can't find either for Serve or Bluebird. Just says $750/day, and total is subject to general limits of $15,000/mo. What do people consider "safe"?

I got the same problem, so now I just pause using Serve altogether, maybe start back after the holidays.
The real question is What if USPS lost our checks? Who should we talk to?
