It comes to around $3.45 per $500 accounting for fees, USPS priority, GPoints and the fact that your last card is the highest it can be to stay under the $2500 cap.

I am going to need you to explain the math for me on that.

GPoints have to be used on a subsequent order, correct?

I guess this is based on something like

On second order of $2500 total (5 gift cards slightly less than $500 each)

1) 5 cards: $34.75
2) Shipping $7.45
3) - Gpoints: $25
So cost is $17.20 on $2,482.80 of gift cards which is about $3.46 per $500 of gift card spend

Yep, that is what I thought. So, the first order costs $8.44 per card. However, that gets you rolling on the GPoints which make the second order (and I guess future orders) worthwhile.

I think you make a great point!! I just placed an order. :D

Its not reliable.
They change fee and shipping structure so frequently that by the time you will be ready to use your points for next order, your total out of pocket fee will be much higher. it will wipe out your savings.
I will use them only when they will have free shipping code. I will also split my order in a way that I will leave minimum points on the table.

Bull.

I order from them consistently and even without any shipping codes it is still reasonable. Max it out to a $2500 order each time and you earn back $25 on $40 or so in fees = $15 for $2500. Not bad.

I stopped receiving orders from them after 09/22.
Almost 30 cards "shipped" 2 weeks ago, but were never delivered to my home.
Anybody has same problem?

I tried to place an order with a final total of $2500 (after applying rewards) but the order was denied as my GC total before the reward discount was more than $2500.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Just curious of the average profile/reasons of MS-ers who buy gift cards online, such as from giftcards.com now that you have to pay fees, as opposed to buying them locally at grocery/drug stores.

Is it for non-category volume MS?

Yeah order total is limited to $2500 before any discounts, so you may have to do like 4x $500 and 1x $475 or so.

Just depends on the type of MS you're doing - for me, I just MS to hit minimum spend thresholds for cards, not to manufacture cash back or points. So any bonuses like Club Carlson for spending $10k in a year, Delta Reserve for $60k in a year, etc.

I used my latest order on what turned out to be the last day of Redbird loads. So, before I order the next set, do these suffer the same problem of One Vanilla at Walmart?

No, these work fine at Walmart.

Maximum per VGC now appears to be $250 with a $4.95 fee.
