I would suggest removing the previous post, as this is likely an oversight/loophole that will be closed if the proprietors of the web site read the message.

+1. I agree with kharlamov.

I went out to WM to liquidate some cards. First card worked great--approved. None of the others worked. Tried several cashiers and the Kate.

Went back and re-activated the cards, just to make sure. Came back and had success on my first card at Kate. Then, all the other cards failed.

So, I'm not sure what's up. Getting a lot of "Tender Not Allowed"

Have you tried another location? There has always been a limit on the number of swipes/PIN entries, like 4 in a row, then you must wait 10 minutes to do more. Maybe this location has a bug where that got set down to just 1 swipe.

I hit the 4 swipe limit once with cards less than $500 each, and a supervisor was able override it on KATE.

There. I edited it. But I learned it from other sites, where it's still up.

Apparently, I'm not allowed to say anything about this.

However, suffice it to say that in your particular situation, you probably won't be able to get much use out of Giftcards.com. You came in a bit too late. Sorry.

Looks like a $9.95 fee for a $500 card plus a minimum charge of $7.45 for postage. What a deal! Simon mall here I come.

For what it's worth, I got this sorted out. It was really an idiot move by me, trying to drain $500 from a card that had already been used for a test purchase. Then, I got flustered and my failed card was one I'd already successfully drained. Just stupid.

Went back online, looked at all the transactions, and figured it out.

I hadn't done any MS in several months, and I guess I was a little rusty. Back in the saddle now...
