I wrote a blog post about it (I'm not linking it because I think that would be breaking the rules) as well as a post on the sub Reddit that I made. The highest percentage I've successfully used is 1.2%, but there seems to be a new site (that I haven't heard of) that is offering 1.6%.

Pin based visa gift gift card doesnt work for money order / serve load
I bought pin based visa gift cards at giftcards.com and they came today.
I reset the pin to what I wanted. I went to my local grocery store to buy money orders and it didnt accept my visa gift card using pin. Then I went to Walmart customer service and asked them to load visa gift card to my serve card and there also it didnt accept my payment using my pin. I came home and checked transaction and it shows -500 on my transaction but account balance is still 500 $. As the charged was declined. beware of giftcards.com purchase. Anyone had successfully used it today ? Thanks. |
Ignore above message.
When I called giftcards.com customer service, they said my card was not active I will try again activating card. |
Anyone seen a situation like this? I have some missing funds on my giftcards.com VGC.
So, I purchased a $500 gift card. Initially used $480. The next day, I attempted to load the last $20 to Serve (part of my possibly ineffective Serve-preservation strategy, but I digress). The load fails -- Reason 51 at the WM register. I understand this to mean insufficient balance. Sure enough, I go online and the reported balance is $0. However, the pickle is that the transaction history reflects the above -- i.e., that there was an initial $500 load and a later $480 spend. After that, there is no other transaction history. Yet, $20 is missing from the card. So, my Serve account does not have any record of a successful $20 load (or an unsuccessful load at that). Nor is there any indication in the transaction history for the card where the last $20 went -- it's just not there. |

I usually purchase $500 VGC from giftcards.com when there is a deal. I just received a new AMEX BGR card and had to make $10,000 in purchases. I successfully purchased $10,000 in VGC (over 5 transactions and 5 days) at 1.6% cash back using the above mentioned portal. I've never had an issue using their VGCs to make PIN based transactions.
The best part about the giftcards.com VGC is that you can pick a design and "gift" is written super tiny. I usually pick a design with a black background then use a sharpie to blot out the word gift. |
Any Free Shipping code for Gifcards.com?

Even though it looks like jags86 may have answered this question but I just got the Amex SPG card. It does say right in the agreement terms that the purchase or reload of pre-paid cards are not eligible for points. I guess transactions with giftcards.com do post the points correct?

I figured it probably would. All of my other cards gave points. I just never saw the wording before on the other cards. It is probably there, I just didn't read it.

Not sure, I've loaded about $5k of those same GCs at Walmart (combo of Kate and register) onto BB/Serve in the last 2 weeks without issue. Are you sure they're activated? I just hope iConsumer comes through. They owe me a lot of money right now.
