Is everyone who is getting the cancelled orders pretty new to giftcards.com?
It seems like they got a huge rush recently when they showed up on reddit's /r/churning, and then got picked up by multiple blogs. I'm wondering if that kicked up the fraud potential. |

Wifey bought one $500 VGC using her Chase BA Visa in late July.
I bought one $500 VGC using my Chase BA Visa yesterday, but the purchase was cancelled ("the debit or credit card used for the purchase was unable to be processed") today. We share the same giftcards.com account. |

Ordered Thursday, delivered today. $1500
I first opened an account for my wife to order me cards. That worked. I then opened an account for my daughter (different home address) to order me cards. That order was rejected. I then had my daughter instead order my wife cards (same address as my own). That worked. So perhaps you can't have 2 different people send you cards. Or perhaps it's just random. :) Honestly, I think it's best to go easy on this. Since it's most useful to meet minimum spends on non-bonus-category cards, that's all I'm using it for. If I can do a combined $3000 to $6000 month in such cards, I'll be happy. It saves me the trips to the supermarket, and the scrutiny and curiosity that comes from buying lots of gift cards in person (and the problem of the cards not being in stock). I also like how these cards look like credit cards. I am a bit concerned by the lack of security on activation. Not sure why they don't send you an activation code via email. What's to prevent somebody from intercepting your letter and activating the card by phone or internet? |
Did anybody receive cards from them on separate days, if order 2+ cards?
In total I ordered 3 times, first time 2x$500 and my next two orders were 3x$500. All GC for first 2 orders arrived on the same day, however for my last order I only received (yesterday) 1 envelope (1 GC), and 2 still didn't arrive. I thought they would arrive next day, but they didn't. Is it a concern? |

normally they don't break the order in multiple shipments.

I always order four at a time, have never had any rejects (even when doing two orders of 4 on the same day), and they have never split my order. Sounds very odd to me if they are splitting the order...like it must be related to how you are ordering the cards or something. use the same message, same name, same envelope, etc.

Does setting your PIN activate your card or do you have activate and then set the PIN

Do I still earn G-money points on an order that I redeemed G-money points previously earned? I made my second order and redeemed 2000 points but do not see any earned on this order yet. I ordered 4 $500 visas each order. Nevermind it does earn points. I see them tracked now

Circuitous sentences are circuitous. Yes, you'll earn the points. If you just recently ordered, you need to let the order be finalized before you receive your G points.

I am brand new to giftcards.com. Ordered for the first time last Thursday. Between me and an account in my wife's name, I have ordered 10 $500 cards in the past few days. All orders and processed and moved from pending to charged on our Citi cards. Now I'm just hoping they'll get the 3x online bonus!
