And you don't have to join a credit union to get the cards. Seems way easier to me -- if they'll actually sell you the cards, of course.

My recent order was cancelled, according to the email, "Due to insufficient funds." This doesn't seem right, as my credit card was no where near maxed out, and in fact the order never even reached the credit card processor (no record of decline).

what is "Opting in G points"

Ughhh, woke up this morning and had the following in my email:

What the? I see a pending charge of $1 on my Credit Card. This makes no sense...

Did $3.5k in July and $4k in August. I won't be pushing it harder then that.

Is there a strategy for keeping orders from being cancelled? I want to order a couple of gift cards from them but keep reading about even small orders being cancelled (example above). What's the trick? Thanks!

No trick yet, just trail and error. Really not many data points on this site yet. I don't think this site will last much longer for the discounted cards, which is why I don't mind discussing it.

Also not able to get an order to go through. I click "complete order", it processes, and nothing happens. I can see that they pinged my credit card for authorization.

[second edit] My problem with completing the orders seemed to be related to a cookie issue. I cleared browsing history / cookies and was able to submit an order. Alas, with no free shipping.

Have not been cancelled yet. After seeing a lot of cancellations from others the past few days, I'm going to push off my order till next week. Without the free shipping this site loses a good amount of value though.
