I take it there were drugstore bonuses that were still left alive? I stopped playing that game after the HH devaluation back in the day. Earned quite a few nights at the Conrad Tokyo that way. Ah, the good old days.

Do you care to elaborate on how you wasted time and money? Not too sure if flying FC to Hong Kong, and Sydney is a waste of time for less then $500 for two people...

He was kidding.

Yes, category bonuses, 2x cards, or meeting min. spend for sign up bonuses.

Comes out to about 1.1 cpm. It's more than VR at 0.8 cpm, but gas and time have to be worth something. Plus you can do 50,000 miles per account with this. Get a family member in the mix, and you can manufacture 100,000 miles in about 4 minutes.

That should even give the most aggressive MSers a run for their money :)

damn, this offer is pretty decent..but wifey never opened an US AIR dividend account, offer not valid for accounts created less than 12 days ago....wish i had access to older accounts to move the miles around for 100k bonus :D

Costco is the best!!!

You can get max cashback of $60 from any type of debit card. Additionally, if you are not happy with a purchase, you can return it and get cash.

Example: I buy a tablet and pay with a debit card ( any type of debit card from OM or Staples or CVS...etc). I get a cashback of $60 with my tablet purchase. When I get home, my wife is not happy with my purchase and tells me to return it. I return my tablet to Costco and get cash for the return (Costco only process AMEX).

You have to pay a membership fee to do this. However, after 11 months ask for a full refund of your membership fee. Easy Peesy

how do you scale up? each purchase/return is kind of tagged to your costco membership, so i am sure they can easily track/ban such customers...even if we can scale up i wouldn't go that route for moral reasons :D

Switch of different accounts...sign up and refund for a couple of months...then sign up again with different person. Repeat Forever. Additional you can add a 2nd person to your account. :)

I walked into my CVS on Sunday... cashier looks at my familiar face with a sad smile, pulls a sheet of paper from behind the register as if about to say - "it's not you, it's me"!
But it doesn't matter anymore... I took a last look at the massive stack of VRs and walked away.

End of a year long love story.

Let us know how this works out for you. Costco is more than aware of people screwing them out of interchange fees with the buy/return for cash scheme.

been working for me for a long time now:cool:

Congratulations. What you are doing is at best short-sighted. Also, are you going to post your brilliant new discovery in every MS thread?

Had my first OV denial at CVS today. It was the store manager at the register, said "you know those are cash only, right?" I told him that I thought it was only the reloadable products that were cash only, and he said "Nope, it's any of the variable load cards - this just changed within the last few days." So I thanked him, bought some Cadbury Creme Eggs and went on my way.

That's about the VR volume I was doing as well. It's tough picking up the slack.
