Better Q would be why would anyone buy another GC with a perfectly good GC? Of course that would throw any cashier or manager for a loop.
The real question is why would they care? a Visa/AMEX/MC GC is accepted anywhere a Visa/AMEX/MC credit card is. What could they be trying to prevent? That is what I wonder.... |

FROM THE FRONT LINES:
Baton Rouge, Louisiana went down 4/3. Somewhere between 1am and 9am. Sigh... A little late, sure. But I felt I had to post out of lamentation... |

However, I wasn't buying GCs with a GC lol. I was buying Vanilla Reloads and reloading Serve. Not the same thing

May want different denominations. Let's say I a have twin nieces and want to give each a $100 GC for their B-day and I have a $500 GC.

So I'm in Europe right now and missed out on the VR ending (panic-buying) frenzy (in-person at CVS anyways) but walking about today came across this which just stood out to me...
http://i58.tinypic.com/2ce101k.jpg Ahh VR you gotta mock me here as well lol. Ready for the kicker? It was some sort of travel booking agency! :D Indeed, irony for the win, although my first thought was maybe its a gelato/ice cream store haha I wonder why. |

You came to the wrong place if you want help..
google some others manufact spend at some other forums because most of the post here and useless made by useless people who just whine you could ask good honest questions all day but you wont get much help.. I suggest paypal - get your mom, dad, son, wife, etc an authorized user card like I did for my citi - I have 3 amazon accounts me, wife and my aunt and they use the same card (authorized cards) to send money so 3 people in 3 months will be 9k. There are other ways as well - AMEX gift card and others.. Good luck with this forum Paypal eh, great idea:D |
I have not seen a single post since the cash only requirement at CVS that mentions that Paypal is still allowed. The official CVS memo pictures that were taken by a few people showed that Paypal was also going to be cash only.

CVS is still allowing CREDIT CARD for VR purchases.you can go to your bank and withdraw $500 and pay to load the VR. Then you can use your credit card to pay the $3.95 fee for each card.
