They met by the card rack
In the old CVS
He served in Iraq
She kinda MS'd

And their hearts beat like thunder
Getting VRs by the score
But when the credit was over
They fell outta their chairs
And onto the floor.
(Yes, they did.)

Yeah, a man loves his drugstore
But he gets really sore
When she finally decides,
Won't take credit no more
So he goes to some Walmart
Like he's some kind of jerk
Swipes a card in the kiosk
But the damn thing don't work

MSers, we're so close, so close--yet so far away.

Some people think,
if you just read FT
That's all you need,
to solve MS mystery.
But I know someone,
just posts pics of his wife,
And some circles and arrows...
(c'mon, dude, get a life)

So close, yet so far away
So close, yet so far away
We believe that an FR
Might be worse than AA
Face it, we're so close, so close--yet so far away.

There's a old Blue Cash in your pants tonight
There's a secret Marathon Man card
And the dream that pulls us to spend it, girl,
Is the dream that Cary Chaney's tearin' apart

There's a angry post on FT tonight
Someone find us some way out of here
(I see you looking, f0xx)
But we gotta fight, and do it together, people
For the dream, that keeps us

So close, yet so far away
Accounts close, we still find a way
Who would have thought, after dollar coins,
We'd still be here today?
DAMMIT so close, so close--yet so far away.

PowerMan572 Apr 4, 2014 9:55 pm

I guess the one good thing about Vanilla Reloads being done is these awful songs that get posted in this thread LOL They will finally be done!

Sorry, they were just too much for me.:o

+1 to that ^. I mean good effort by MM but man did they take up so much forum space and became annoying when I am trying to read the FT forums on my mobile phone constantly scrolling.

Well, my go-to CVS store finally went down today. I've made many trips there and I'm friendly with all the cashiers and managers. Right after I walked in the cashier told me reloadables are now cash only.

At this point:
I did not try to convince her to ring up a VR.
I did not try to convince her to attempt some sort of override.
I did not demand that the manager be called over.
I did not throw a hissy fit.

I shrugged my shoulders and said "Oh well. . . Which ones have gone cash only?". She went over and took out the dreaded memo and we looked it over. I said "it doesn't look like Serve is on the list". She responded, "Oh wait, it says Amex swipes here. . . is Serve Amex?" I said yes and did not try to convince her to try it. Rather, I said "it looks like OV is not on the list - probably because it is not a reloadable. Could we give that a try?" She responded, "If its not on the list, we can try it". (I noticed that a handwritten note at the bottom read "Vanilla One?"). She rang me up for $2,500 and I wished her a good night.

Are OVs sold at the grocery store? I don't think I've seen one there. I may pick up some univisions since those give gas points too.

Better Q would be why would anyone buy another GC with a perfectly good GC? Of course that would throw any cashier or manager for a loop.

Florida woman very upset over CVS changes

I think this is taking it a little too far though.

You came to the wrong place if you want help..

google some others manufact spend at some other forums because most of the post here and useless made by useless people who just whine

you could ask good honest questions all day but you wont get much help..

I suggest paypal - get your mom, dad, son, wife, etc an authorized user card like I did for my citi - I have 3 amazon accounts me, wife and my aunt and they use the same card (authorized cards) to send money so 3 people in 3 months will be 9k.

There are other ways as well - AMEX gift card and others..

Good luck with this forum
