Thank you for your comments! Been doing Evolve and AP but it is not nearly as the volume I was doing with VRs...
Maybe, I should take a weekend trip to NJ now.... |
Anyone have an issue purchasing OV or GC's today at cvs? The manager was showing they weren't on file when he would scan them with his gun. When he scanned them at the register is was popping up with a message about certain items not being able to be purchased with a cc. He wouldn't try going past that screen so I left and thanked him for his time.

i gotta say, while the demise of VR at CVS was a major disappointment for me, buying dozens of $1 items for free with serve is a nice little something to keep the love going

At my favorite DFW-area CVS this morning, the clerks were looking at a new memo that declared no more split payments for gift/prepaid cards, effective immediately.

Please forgive if this post isn't useful. I have only sporadically followed this change at CVS and admit I have not digested this entire thread.
This morning I purchased a VR (only 1 for $500) at my neighborhood CVS using a cc. I have not tried this in over a month and I was never purchasing more than 1 or 2 a month in the past year or so. Not sure if this matters, but I was picking up a medical prescription and it was the pharmacy tech who checked me out. No issues or questions at all. Loaded onto BB just fine, as usual. When time allows I will revisit the store and try again via the normal cashiers. Just a data point for those this could help. I am in Cleveland. |

As a fellow NYC VR addict, I hear your pain. Why not head the other way out LI. Make a weekend out of it and stop by Wally world on the way to a beachhouse in the Hamptons ;)
Is there a MO limit at Wally? |

$2,500, but WM is notorious for having clerks that do not care (at least in the PHL area).

Isn't the max $1000 per MO though?

$1k is the max per MO. $2.5k is the max if you want to avoid paperwork. You can purchase multiple MOs in one transaction.

Just to be clear, if I have $500 x 4, then my MO will be lower than 2 x $1000, right? because $1000 MO x 2 + MO fee will be > $2000? |
