I understand what you are saying from a perspective of interpreting a document, but my gut tells me that in this case the intent is belied by the quantitative (SKUs) not qualitative (language) portion. It's easy to write the wrong words but some research went into getting those SKUs right.

While it may be only regional (hopefully) and I see the point you are making it seems pretty clear that when the registers are programmed the VR code will be entered for cash sale only.

CVS near church tonight only let me buy $1k VRs (CC). Struck out on Staples deal due to low inventory and now this. Well, at least I got my Simon GCs at $2.95 per and happened to hit a gas station that sold me a VGC with Chase Freedom. I do wish I had waited on the Simons until next week now that I've read this.

Guess I am going to another CVS tonight. Just when I was getting closer to a BB account. Overall, this will pretty much blow up the debit card accounts. Sigh...

I saw the email---the same exact one as shown on FTC, twitter, etc. ---at a CVS in New Hampshire.

the ones here are cash only with ID swiped and load limit is max $400. you can pay the $3.95 with credit card.

the limit of $5K in CVS, do you know if they track it by the CC number or only when they scan the DL? probably a stupid question many of you would say but I just had to ask..response will be appreciated

This is what I get for not getting on FT for over 24 hours. I come back to about 10 pages of news on this thread. I always say that I must be bad luck. Anytime that I find out about a deal, it's killed shortly after :-( I just moved from BB to Serve a few weeks ago. This will suck if I have to move back. While I have Walmarts close to me, it's just so much more convenient to stop into the CVS on my way home, reload Serve and keep moving.

And I also JUST got the WF and Old Amex Blue Cash a couple of weeks ago just for CVS!

Grocery stores and gas stations (if you have 7/11's that will sell them).

I actually haven't bought VR in a while and have been doing all my spend at Grocery stores except for loading Serve at CVS. I guess I'll have to go back Bluebird in May but I think I am going to buy $5k in VR tomorrow to take care of Serve for April.

If it is DL, I think I should be able to go around all the stores in my area and make the $10K, I need to by tomorrow....if they track it by CC, then I am screwed..

No. Bad luck is what I was going to do. I was going to switch from BB to serve next week, so I could have loaded 10k VRs instead of just 5k.

SO I am sure someone else has noticed.. but there is no mention of 2014 anywhere. Just 3/31... anyways it's probably the end of the VR game and it was a nice run but hopefully not!

I think I can get through with Serve although and if not I'll switch back to BB. I still have one BB to work off of. I will do anything to stay away from WM.
