I verified at a CVS that the Item #904509 is for the VR as listed in the memo when I was buying my 5K of VRs.

I think its funny how this day has been from ridiculing those with low posts of trolling as an April's Fools joke to folks finally accepting it as reality.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get the Old Amex Blue Cash just a couple of weeks ago? I thought it was dead for quite a while. Please advise b/c I'm still very interested in this card.

I was going to do the same thing as you and switch from BB to Serve to take advantage of the CVS fee free loading. Looks like I'll be sticking with BB for now.

Btw, does anyone know if we can allow buy the variable OV VGC's with CC at CVS and use those OV VGC's to dump them onto BB at WM?

I still have a hard time believing that SO many managers are unaware of such a large change. Most of the stores we frequent know the popularity of these (hence why they go missing all the time), so you would think it would be something that would spread pretty fast among the managers-->associates, etc.

Makes me believe it's regional. But what do I know! I can only hope!

Once your DL is swiped for 1k or 5k you are done for 24 hrs at all CVS locations unless you use a different DL. Just thought to save you a trip

It's still available. Go to AmEx's website in private browsing/incognito mode. Click the cards icon at the top then click View all Personal Charge & Credit Cards. Blue Cash Everyday should be the second option. Click View Quick Info. There should be a link at the top that says "Looking for an earlier version of the Blue Cash Card?" Click that and apply.

Took my wife and kid with me (past his bed time) to head out to CVSs (north Texas area). 3 stores were completely out. Voila, 4th store had 4 full racks of them ^

I just had both of us switch to Serve, and both have pretty new Exec cards so we got 5k each tonight and will return once again tomorrow to purchase the same.

Too bad I thought that the VR game was done for me since we just both switched to Serve.

FWIW, the night supervisor at the CVS store was not aware of the cash only memo. And this store still sold cigarettes so who knows....

So if I bought 3k at 4pm for example I can't buy anymore for 24 hours? Does it reset at midnight or do I have to wait until 4pm? I can't buy 2k more?

They're selling tobacco until the fall. I don't know the exact date, but it's not phased out yet.

And what if this turns out to be an April Fools joke !!
