I.E. people stepping up their game, I think the people that have received the Blue Cash card from Amex are probably going to wipe out the VRs even faster now.

I am in central NJ, looks like CVS does not sell VRs on credit cards. Any thoughts? I can go to NYC if needed.

I am taking a road trip from Houston,TX to New Orleans, LA next weekend, do the stores in that area have VRs for sale on credit cards?

Where specifically in NJ? There have been many reports of successful card purchases at CVS in Central NJ.

Which one of you is messing with the bean supply in my territory? Used to be plentiful but now I'm lucky if I find them once a week.

Live in Monmouth county, drive daily up the parkway and NJ tpk to jersey City,NJ for work. Can easily check out the Edison or Summit areas too.

LOL. it's on. I am finding the cards that are being hidden in the Chatham Nj area. YOU know who you are. There are three stores in the area. I find them hidden all over the place. Maybe I'll do a stakeout and catch them in the act.

Just wondering what everyone does when they find a hidden stack of VR's.

Do you:

1) Take what you need and leave the rest in their original hiding place?

2) Take what you need and hide the rest in a different place?

3) Take what you need and expose the rest so anyone can find them?

3. If I'm in a bad mood I replace the stash with XBox cards or something. I find hiding VR's seriously annoying.

Same, except the replacing with other cards bit.. never considered that before.

Are you that weird dude who's always hanging out in the feminine hygiene aisle across from the GC section?

I agree.

Unfortunately, I'd say around 75% of my VR purchases come from someones hidden stack. Have to spend some time searching for them.

I used to often do (1) but lately I've been doing (3).

But I may have to go back to doing (1) if the supplies dry up at my go-to spots.

hitman1420 Feb 8, 2014 10:35 am

Honestly, it's a weird feeling. Like, if they hadn't hid the VRs, the supply would likely be gone already. In a weird way, I'm thankful, but still peeved.

Luckily, I've trained my eyes to spot a VR from an aisle away, the side pattern is a dead giveaway :p
