Gotta wait 18 yrs I think. I already have 4 BBs. 2 from me and wife, 2 from sister and niece. They don't do use theirs so they are on me.

I have state DL & state ID card. Wonder if I can go over the 24 hrs $5K limit by using each of them separately? Will try that. But if they find out I went over $5k 24 hrs limit. They panic and won't even sell 1

You can go over the 5K limit not too hard, just do each transaction as $999, do that 10 times.

VRs were plentiful at the CVS I go to 2 days ago, but now they're all gone. The roads were getting slipperier and slipperier while I was out earlier today, so I'm not inclined to try the west side CVS right now.

Going to give it another try today. A friend who is deeper than I am in this says there are several stores in our general area with VR's in stock again. I'm skittish after yesterday's denial. My friend and I laughed at how we feel like we're doing something shady even though we're not actually breaking any laws! I don't regularly indulge in MS, I just use VR/BB to make minimum spends. Maybe if I was a regular, I wouldn't feel so awkward about it.

many cvs cashiers take it too personal or as if they are about to be cheated of something when you buy VRs $500 or more. They stare at you and other cashiers look at your transaction. They also act as if we are criminal despite the fact that the corporate allows the purchase with ID scan.
Now in regards to today's experience, The first store I went to, I bought 7, the next rep tells my cashier that limit is $4k and tried to take 2 out. Told her limit is $5k but I am buying less than that. Scanned ID and manually too. Went to another one, grabbed 7, the cashier printed out 5k 24 hrs limit reached paper , so I was able to buy 3 only. I do one for wife so she can stay home and I am her authorized user.

The two west side locations are always in stock because of their $1k limit.

Newbie here... dipping my toes, MS & VR virgin.

I bought my first VR today ($500). Loaded to BB. Easy peasy.

Was at 3 different CVS's in the DMV area. All had plenty of stock!

I am on my progress to complete the minimum spending of $10k or Citi AA card. I bought $5000 worth of VR cards and loaded them into BB already and now cannot load anymore VR into BB since the limit for this month already maxed out ($5000 month limit). So I have to wait until next month before I can start to load them into BB again. I still have 5 of VR cards laying around, haven't use them yet.....is it okay to keep them in the safe and wait until next month so I can load it into my BB? does it have expiration date or certain time limit to load it into BB? Thanks in advance.

No, VR's do not have an expiration date. You will want to keep them safe as you note. Many people keep some extras around. There is a small amount of risk in that if you have a card with some type of issue, you won't know it for awhile.

Of course the best idea is to get another BB (spouse, SO, family, etc). Or an Emerald Card. Or an MVD card if you are desperate...
