Which are preferred bank ATM for Cash for My vanilla Debit
 
I got my MVD card but not loaded yet. I called CSR was informed that I have cash withdrawl limit of $410 at a time for $ 1.95 fee. I think the ATM also charges additional fee for cash withdrawl which makes it not attractive to withdraw cash by paying double fees.

Any bank ATM which donot charge additional fees for MVD. Otherwise I will have use direct debit options with $0.50 per use.

Oddly enough, the MVD is one card I've never been able to make work for ATM withdrawals. I've never been able to figure out why.

It'll likely be specific to your area. Check grocery stores and gas stations as they seem to be the best bet around here.

Why won't it work? You use it same as your regular debit card.

My MVD card was shut down today with Monitored status.

I loaded $8500 this month and bought money orders at Walmart and a grocery store for $8500. My average balance for the month was about $7000. I never used cash advances.

How much did you buy in money order in walmart and the grocery store? Did you have to fill out any special forms to buy the money order in large amount?

Those money orders are kind of high chief. Plus, it looks suspicious. I feel like that is an additional paper trail.

You want a definitive paper trail to prevent accusations of money laundering and structuring, unless you are money laundering and structuring

I kept the money orders under $1000, but the last time was just under $2000. There were no special forms to fill out.

I did just ONE and it wasn't CA, but a MO at WM for $4,000! I was really shocked. Now the other two of my cards are monitored as well, looks like game over for me :(

Right. Think about the transactions the under banked actually perform. They are never going to be over $2k.

ALways start small.. I have 4 MVDs and I never cross 1K in MO... occasionally do a 2400 CA. All 4 are active..
