So I loaded the cards, and did two CAs of 3000 & 2500.

I only did a MO from USPS once with MVD because I was charged the $1.95 fee. I think the way they run it through it shows as a CA

Does anyone know what the daily withdrawal limit is on Bank of America ATMs using a MVD?

Yeah saw that but thought BofA had their own limit. Has anyone done an over-the-counter transaction at BoA for more than the $400? Sounds like they'd think it was sketchy...

Couldn't tell you if it had been done specifically at BOA, but many have reported successful CAs before being shut down.

I don't have any bonuses I am trying to meet at the moment or I would fully utilize my 3 cards on top of AP and 2 birds. Either way, my income isn't high enough to justify spending over $10k every month.

Cash Access
With your PIN, you may use your Card to obtain cash from any Automated Teller Machine (“ATM”) that bears the Visa®, Plus® or STAR® Acceptance Mark, or any Point-of-Sale (“POS”) device, as permissible by a merchant, that bears the Visa®, Interlink® or STAR® Acceptance Mark. All ATM transactions are treated as cash withdrawal transactions. You may use your Card at an ATM, a POS device or through a participating bank (over-the-counter withdrawal), in each case in one or more transactions. The maximum cumulative amount that may be withdrawn from an ATM per day is $400.00. The maximum cumulative amount that may be withdrawn from a POS device per day is $3,000.00. The maximum cumulative amount that may be withdrawn through a participating bank (over-the-counter withdrawal) per day is $2,500.00 per day. Any funds withdrawn from a POS device or through a participating bank will be subject to the maximum amount that can be spent on your Card per day. If you seek to withdraw cash from a merchant POS devise, please note that each merchant may establish limits as to how much cash may be obtained from a POS devise at a single time or through a single location. This means that you may need to visit more than one merchant if you are seeking to withdraw cash in an amount which is less than or equal to the total limit above, but more than the limit established by the individual merchant.

Did you experience problems w/ MVD after doing that? I just don't understand how they can shut them down when it's not violating the terms...

I'm pretty sure they have the right to refuse to do business with anyone. It's not like their a governmental organization or a utility or something.

I realize, but why do they have terms for CAs and POS withdrawals if when you do one, they shut down your account.

Huh, interesting. I don't recall reading about the $2500 CA limit before. That could be why people are getting their accounts cancelled, maybe?

dmvflyer Apr 25, 2013 5:33 pm

Could it be an issue with buying the reload and CAing in the same day? Could draw attention to the account.

Every business has the 'right to refuse' anyone, but if they refuse randomly, how long will it be for everyone to refuse that business? such business are eventually pushed out of business.

I doubt they've shut down people doing just one.
