I've been away for a while, but I know that AZ recently required SSN for all accounts. *REQUIRED*, not longer optional.
Has anyone managed to create two accounts with the same SSN, but maybe different name variations, birth date and address, and send money from A->B (unidirectional only), without getting shut down? I've also seen a few posts that there is no *PUBLIC* way to avoid the SSN requirement for all new AZ accounts. Can someone please PM me the non-public way? Thanks. |
Not heard of a nonpublic way yet. Watch the variation business because they may hit you with a request for drivers license and dob information. They appear to be doing an automated look up using data from some service. The lookup process may be the point where AP detects duplicate accounts.

Yes. the more conservative route is preferable.
5000 points a month are nice, but it's not going to get you too far. I'm a little reluctant to beg friends and family for their social security numbers. |
Does AP REQUIRE ALL new accounts to have SSN attached to them?
|
Can a family have multiple AP accounts under different SSNs and send money to one another? will AP shut down account for this case? thanks.

Social networking comes to mind. Agree that 5k a month is rather low, but when you amp to 75k a day you really are running a business operation and have to think of the game at another level. Miles mean flights at low levels but at higher levels miles are just numbers.

So does this basically mean that there's no practical way to turn back into cash more than $1000/month worth of office supply store gift cards?

No, only accounts that are moving money. You can create an inventory of shell accounts that basically have zero functionality.

kind of a silly question to openly post. if you were going to seriously try this (and I would suggest you not try this), you should probably consider using the PM function with someone from the forum who seems familiar with the topic. also, i wouldn't suggest risking more than you can afford to be tied up for long periods of time (shall the wrath of AP scout you out). imho, it's only a matter of time before AP catches those with multiple accounts and sending money to themselves. |

Does the recipient have to have a verified bank account in order to receive payments I send to their Amazon account? I would like to pay a friend via my CC, but his bank info is in the process of being verified. Since he doesn't need to transfer the money to his bank account right away, will I still be able to send the money via my CC to his amazon account? Thanks!

Can u load to amazon and then transfer to ur own bank account? Don't know anyone to do amazon payments with

That's not true, you can't even create a shell account without SSN. When you sign up the first thing they ask if for all personal information including SSN. You can't get past that page at all.
