to my knowledge the outfitting is done by LH Technik in HAM. It is not in XFW but a few miles north

BTW according to flightradar24 it looks like D-AIKP flew from TLS to HAM on Thursday.

D-AIKP was delivered on 05APR12, Airbus only delivers A330/340s from TLS

Basically the Delivery Centre in TLS delivers every single Airbus type, whilst the one in XFW delivers A320Family & A380s for Euro & Middle East customers (due to XFW runway constraints) only.

Are there any west coast US routes that have a high probability (or even a chance) of new F? I'm looking to book over the summer.

Have you checked the first post?
MUC-SFO, MUC-LAX and FRA-SFO (on the A380).

Thanks! Immensely enjoyed. Service wasn't the best, but entirely offset by the hard product - and you CAN'T go wrong with the UD on a 747.

Keep an eye on them.... looks like a lot of stuff is changing. Hey, you might even score an A380 if you play route lottery

[edit] bam. NewbieRunner beat me to it

What are my chances of getting new F on the 74s in late 2012 going FRA-EWR/JFK or vice versa?

True. But you will have some new 748. I think it is more like 12 of 28

or 14 out of 30

I heard 5 748 will join in 2012 is this still correct?

Yes, if you believe in Santa... I would estimate 2-3 748i joining the fleet this year.

Rimowa amenity kit in LH F? That IS wishful thinking. They used have an F-class worthy kit but in Dec 2011 I got a clear plastic kit with a blue zipper and mediocre contents. I just gave them away to a friend with a long trip in Y -- I thought they were US Airways business class kits which are identical! Maybe b/c there were too many LH Rimowa kits on ebay?

Better try Thai F.

To be honest, I found Rimowa, besides the *bag*, wasn't particularly useful. Neither was the Bogner. The Swiss Bally has a NICE hand cream, and the Thai F kit has a COPIOUS amount of Hermes eau de toilette - maximum win. The LH new F Porsche design is a disappointment. There is literally half a gram of eau de toilette - by Porsche in it.
