This looks like a useful resource. Let's make this the first sticky in your new forum.

This is great
Maybe this attempt at discussing different LANPASS credit cards could also be linked: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/lan-l...dit-cards.html

Done! But it never really got going the LANpass credit card discussion did it?
The flyerguide list needs some updating. Argentina's credit card is wrong, It doesn't include the Brazil cards and Colombia no longer has a card.

No, but maybe now it will! I think the problem is that since most people would only be eligible for one of the banks, then the rest are somewhat unimportant to them?
And the Brazil ones aren't really LANPASS cards, right? Just cards with points that can be transferred to LANPASS.
The Colombia cards are all gone or are they just not available as new cards?
Here's the link for the Argentina cards.

Oh yes I hadn't notice that.

I actually very much doubt anyone ever received a Colombian LANpass credit card. It was promoted by Helm Bank (which is my bank) and they simply didn't want to issue them (not even to their customers). If anyone did receive one I am sure it has been swapped for a regular Helm credit card by now.

I asked my account manager what happened when they stopped marketing it and she said something like LAN was too awkward to deal with. Given that LAN manages bank cards right across South America and my personal experience is that my own bank is awful I am inclined to blame Helm

Re: Seat Guru --- I have written them this week to request they update their database to reflect the full conversion to Premium Business Class; they still list A340s with two old configurations. I will update as soon as I know something.

UPDATE: Seatguru has written me back saying they have the updated seat maps and the site should be corrected soon. I have also asked how we get seat maps for the other LAN planes (A318, A319, A320) loaded.

UPDATE 2: I have just written Seat Guru AGAIN! How hard can this be?

UPDATE 3: Seat Guru sent me s very prompt and very detailed reply about exactly what they are doing to convert the data in their systems. The A340 maps should be corrected and on line soon (the smaller planes will be updated later but they are definitely on the schedule ).

Update 4 (18 January): Seat Guru has updated the A340 and it should be live sometime in the next few days --- the other planes are still in the pipeline.

Update 5 16 February) Updated seat maps for the A340 are finally live on sear guru and Expert Flyer!

Of course once everything is corrected that means it will show up accurately in the ExpertFlyer.com seat maps which was my original incentive for starting this.

LAN MIA Departures

I thought I read where LAN was relocating to the North terminal at MIA. Is this the case and, if so, any idea when?

I'm scheduled on LA 501 MIA-SCL next Monday and see it still departs from J.

There's a thread on here from 2007 regarding their move from A to J. Today they're in J and apparently will stay there (unfortunately) for the time being. There was speculation that all of the OW airlines would move due to the new AA/BA/IB JBA, but that hasn't happened.
