Rewards Club at Kimpton Hotels Experience Thread 2024

This thread is about the experience in Hotels of the Kimpton Chain according to your Rewards Club Status. Usually this would include Kimpton Hotels as well. However, Rewards Club Diamond Members receive additional amenities as Kimpton Hotels, which are listed in the Experience IHG Rewards Club section and include

Inner Circle Amenity (InnerCircle only)
Complimentary Chef's Taste7 (InnerCircle only)
Raid the Bar
$30 In-Room Spa Credit

In so far and to welcome Kimpton Hotels in the iHG forum, we have decided to have its own experience thread and also created a different template,

How to post

1. Do not use the "Reply with Review Button" but the regular one

2. Put the name of the hotel in the title of the post and the post

3. Use the following format by extracting it, ie by using "reply quoting", copying the content into memory, then backing out of "reply quoting" and then pasting the copied content into a new post. Each line is formatted so that you can paste in between them having deleted these opening comments.

4. We kindly ask you to limit the number of pictures.

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

How are the rooms?

[If you are Spire and Inner Cricle]
How was your complimentary welcome amenity?

The links to each reports in the posts above will cover some some posts of 2022 and all post of 2023 all of 2024.

Maintenance Schedule
Links to reports between January 2022 and March 2022 will be deleted after April 01, 2024 -->
Links to reports between April 2022 and June 2022 will be deleted after July 01, 2024 -->
Links to reports between July 2022 and September 2022 will be deleted after October 01, 2024 -->
Links to reports between October 2022 and December 2022 will be deleted after December 20, 2024 -->

With this approach I hope to get a balance between the requests to have also older post in this thread and those requesting only to have newer up-to-date posts.
Given the current situation, I may delay the deletion of older post till the end of the year like in 2024

Booked Essential (former Premium) Room at festive season, Received King Premier Suite (1 King Studio Suite Additional Living Area).

How are the rooms?
52sqm. Sofa set in the living area, deep sunken tub w/bath oil and bath salt, Dyson’s Hair Dryer, 50 inch SONY LCD 4K TV with streaming service apps like Amazon Prime or NETFLIX, Vifa Oslo audio, Nespresso, and In-room tablet system are installed.

How is the exec. lounge?
As you know, Kimpton doesn’t have executive lounge however, provide “Social Hour” offering small selections of both alcoholic and soft beverages with small canapé plate. Currently Social Hour is holding at the Banquet Room on 16th floor.

What was your welcome gift?
Bottle of Champagne and my favorite beer accompanying with crunches. in addition, bottle of red wine and two sticks of Kitcut.

Did you raid the mini-bar?
As the mini-bar is complimentary for Suite, I took a glass of champagne from the selected menu at the District Brasserie Bar Lounge for the raid the bar voucher.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
N/A.

What was good?
++++++++++ Guest recognition (extremely friendly and personalized service included welcome gift.)

As I have posted in the specific thread for this hotel, I have just a brief summary of benefits here.

Recognized as Platinum member

10 bar credit

Given 2PM checkout

The social hour was nice. They had a lovely white wine for us. (Not a Platinum benefit but it is worth noting).

Enthused, competent and charming customer service.

Great hotel.
