Yes, sorry, the all-important "but" was missing. It should have been "it might help, but since".

P&C rates are a great bargain at Tokyo Andaz and often a great bargain at HR Kyoto (but more seasonality). all-points are best at PHT, and least value at HRK.

What I mean is, since I'm spending all my points and hard-earned cash at hyatt properties in Japan, maybe contacting one of the property manager would get me a nicer treatment, upgrades, or the like...

Back when I was a SPG junkie, there was the SPG Insider that would handle these kind of request, so that's the goal of my message.
Do you have any status with Hyatt?

Actually just had a huge disapointment, I thought citi thankyou points were transferrable to Hyatt and realized they were not. So now I have to figure it out using 65k citi points some other way. I'll head to the right forum to figure it out.
Thanks all for your help.

I'm glad I booked in early February for an April stay. Got P&C for 7 nights! Checked back last week and P&C option is now gone.

Does anyone know if there are nearby (walkable) places for eating after 11 pm, eg, noodles, yakitori and the like? Thank you.
