There's really no proper desk in any of these rooms?

I have been in four different rooms on the property (Crockfords, Hilton, Conrad, Conrad) and not a single one had a proper desk. The closest was a decent table and chairs in the Conrad Strip facing room.

In fairness, none of the rooms i was in was a suite, so maybe those have desks.

Just wrapped up a stay this past weekend. I had used 2 amex free weekend certs to secure two rooms from 2 accounts back to back(lowest room category). They were sold out as there was an HR convention in the hotel, in addition to the NHL starting weekend. Rates were in the $1300 for the entry level rooms, up to $3000 for one bedroom suites per night!

Overall I was more than impressed. I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite on the top floor, right next to the skybar(66th floor). I did not ask for it, I was proactively upgraded on arrival.

The views were absolutely phenomenal. The breakfast buffet was an additional $2 over the credit and it is perfectly adequate - featuring quality salmon, berries, eggs, etc. All bennies were accurately described and easy to use.

I was also proactively given an additional $50 just because the cleaners did not restock the pods. I went down to ask for couple of pods, given and given addl $50 just because they forgot! I certainly did not expect anything in return. Amazing.

The check-in folks were extremely professional and up to the LXR level.

The room is definitely on par with top 5 star hotels around the world, definitely a notch above all US HH hotels!

Shades worked perfectly during the night - complete darkness. We would sit on the window for 30 minutes at a time just admiring the view and watching the traffic on the strip/highway and plane/heli spotting. The view is that amazing.

We had dinner at the Italian and Mexican and both were absolutely amazing quality. The deserts in the Italian restaurants are to die for, they get very close to what you would find in Laduree in France. The Chef went to Pastry school in Paris so there is that.
Based on reviews on yelp/here I skipped all of the places in the food court and only had deserts which were phenomenal - deserts from around the world, mostly Asia but some notable ones from Latin America - highly recommended!

Crockfords also provides free breakfast every morning and that is in the Crockfords lobby, which is completely free. This is separate from the $50 credit that diamonds get.
Late checkout was proactively offered until 2pm, asked to have the room until 4pm, granted with a smile!

The welcome gift was absolutely phenomenal - The kind you would expect to get in top level hotels in Asia. The full sized cake was certainly top shelf(think super fancy without layers) - it could have easily fed 10 people - we barely finished it by the second day, the charcuterie board was definitely top notch. If I would wager, I would say that the welcome gift could easily cost $150 in the resort! I was blown away - certainly I did not expect that in a US Hilton.

Internet speed was 40Mbit/s which was perfectly adequate for 4k streaming.

Some negatives:
They did not merge the reservations even though HH reservations did. They had to get manager involved to merge the two ressies. I will chalk it up to a newbie that checked me in.
They found a reservation from someone else that had the same last name that was cancelled and gave me a scare. We figured it out but it was a bit stressful.
$50 diamond credits cannot be used everywhere only at 4 different places. That certainly goes against the spirit of the new promo that HH started in July. If its a property credit it should be used anywhere where you can bill. I don't buy the BS that they tell me that they only own 4 of the outlets. Gentling owns the hotels and everything in between, not just 3 restaurants.
The Cast feature on the TV that they have is phenomenal, unfortunately it was implemented poorly and skipped constantly. I hope they will fix it next time I visit.

Did you get charged the resort fees? I will also be using the weekend cert this weekend and was wondering if it will be waived since I'm using cert. For what it's worth, I'm a diamond member. Also do you need to show them anything to get the free breakfast in the lobby? Is it continental breakfast like bagels and cereals? TIA!

EV Charging

Anyone have experience with the electric charging on site? Can it be self parked and charged or valet only?

Just finished my stay this weekend. I did valet the entire time and there is EV charging for valet.

Did 1 night under Amex FHR and 2 free certs. Overall, I'd say the stay was slightly underwhelming.
-Check-in at 5:30pm on Thursday - literally no one at the front desk except for a concierge agent. The next day we came down to the front desk, there were 4 agents, only one of which was helping a guest check-in.
-Front-desk staff was clearly undertrained as we kept getting conflicting information. Charges to the room were also messed up and had to be corrected.
-We had to go down each day to check-in/check-out and settle our bill even though they linked our reservation and we stayed in the same room. First time I've had to do this when doing multiple back-to-back reservations.
-Speaking of check-in, you get a welcome tea drink. They bring out this tray and pour the tea for you. Then I noticed, they literally just put the tray behind them, replace the cups for the next guests, and continue pouring from the same teapot. Slightly unsanitary and tacky for a 5-star hotel - they couldn't just bring out a new tray for each guest?
-FHR breakfast credit does stack with Diamond F&B credit.
-We got a strip-view room on the 64th floor. Beautiful room.
-Had dinner at Kusa Nori, tried the Omakase and it was fantastic.
-Had breakfast buffet at the Kitchen, which was not very good. Actually preferred grabbing breakfast at Suns Out, Buns Out with the breakfast credits.
-Casino seemed like an afterthought, small compared to the size of the entire complex.

Could you spend the $50 credit at any outlet? Such as Starbucks etc?
Currently staying here...at check-in they did not mention the credit. I had to ask and was told it is only valid at Suns Out and The Kitchen.

I think the front desk are on a commission to see how many variations of the credit usage policy they can make up.

Something I just remembered as well re: charges to the room. I charged Starbucks to the room - that never showed up on our final bill. One of the charges from Suns Out never made it either (I was over by $3).

I just completed a three night stay using free weekend night certificates. I am diamond level and was traveling with a friend so requested a two bed room. I feel like there could be better communication prior to check in and at check-in for a hotel at this level. I had no clue where to find valet parking so we ended up self parking the first night and walking very far to check in. As a note to others in the future, the hotel has its own valet behind a closed golden gate. This was still a bit awkward because once you arrive at the gate we just sat there for a few minutes not quite knowing what to do, when a car was exiting we were able to go in. I guess they're supposed to see you and let you in... We must have been invisible.

- no upgrade at check-in
- had to ask about the $50 daily credit and was told we could only use it at Sun's Out Buns Out and The Kitchen- the room was beautiful, we were on the 61st floor with a City view which was quite lovely.
- the room has your standard mini fridge as well as a mini bar but does not have a microwave.
- the high-tech lights drove us batty... Could not figure out how to just have the lamp by the bed on. The automatic drapes worked fine and were a nice little luxury.
- the main reason we picked this resort was because we wanted to spend time at the pool and were definitely excited about the many pools. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating to realize only two of the pools were open. I feel like a closure of this magnitude should be mentioned on the website. I had mentioned the pools when making a reservation as well as at check-in but no one mentioned anything. Of the two pools, one of them was exclusive to Crockford's guests so thank goodness for that. The other open pool was the game pool and it seemed quite popular.
- Ate at both The Kitchen and Sun's Out. Really enjoyed everything I had at Sun's Out. The buffet at The Kitchen was really not great and it took us 15 minutes to get coffee. My friend ordered pancakes off the menu and I have to say those were actually quite tasty.
- Ate a couple of meals at the food stalls area and they were pretty good. The kiosks for ordering were fairly easy to operate.
- a user had mentioned eating free breakfast at the Crockford's lobby? That was definitely not something that was ever mentioned to us or that I saw.
- enjoyed drinks at the Starlight on the 66th floor... Very beautiful area with an excellent view.
- it is very easy to get lost wandering around as this place is massive between the casino, the food stalls, etc. A huge shout out to an employee by the name of Andrea who graciously walked my friend and I out of the building because we were so turned around we could not find the exit that got us to an area near the Walgreens (outside) which we had spotted on an earlier walk around (ha!).
- Their computer and internet systems had a complete meltdown on the last night and morning of our departure. We got back to the room at night and the TV was not working. This morning, the TV was still down as was the internet which was frustrating because I had work to do. It was a system-wide issue so restaurants were not able to take credit card or room charges... You can imagine that in a hotel that is so focused on cashless transactions (not sure if that included the food court area but I believe it impacted both Sun's Out and The Kitchen during the breakfast hour - kudos to their cashiers for handling this with great grace). We had to pay cash for breakfast at Sun's Out... On my checkout receipt it looks like they comped other comparable hotel charges since this charge could not be included in my portfolio for the stay. At checkout, they were not able to generate receipts, they literally were writing down guest names , phone numbers, and emails on a notepad. They did call me at some point post check out but I was traveling and could not answer... I believe all of my receipting looks accurate. It is a bit confusing as it looks like they just remove the charge that they're covering as opposed to showing that they were crediting it which is what I have seen in the past. Like others have mentioned they're not including tip in the credit.
- the GrubHub system is a bit annoying. I hate that I had to download an app just to get food delivery and could not include these as a resort charge.
- I miss the days when your hotel room had printed information detailing all of the hotel's amenities and options. It would have been so nice to information and maps to all of the restaurants, shops, etc. in one concise list instead of wandering around trying to figure out what all the resort had.
- Overall a nice Vegas stay but I don't feel like there's anything super special about being a guest at the Crockford's versus other Hilton properties I've stayed at. The staff and employees throughout the restaurants, casinos, bars, and valet were all very helpful and nice. The staff at the Crocksford's desk seemed to be more stiff and somewhat basic in their customer service which was surprising. I did have to laugh, a woman at the pool area was a wee bit snooty when we walked in and asked to see our room key...Once I presented my key her attitude was much more friendly the next time we passed 😄.

Sorry this is a bit lengthy but hopefully it is helpful to someone else!

I forgot to mention, Uber drivers had a really hard time trying to figure out where the rideshare pickup area was. I'm not sure if the pickup area is a recent change?

Staying here on a one-night FHR stay (gotta burn up the Amex Plat credit somehow) before moving to Cosmo for the weekend. Had a weird issue at check-in where the front desk said my Amex was declined (for incidentals), even though the card machine itself read "approved," and I called Amex to confirm that the charges went through. Not sure what was going on there; think it was the card machine not talking to their systems.

The room itself is nice and well-appointed, if not fairly sterile. I find the in-shower dispensers kind of tacky, especially for a property of this caliber, but not that big of a deal. 60th floor view of the Trump hotel, and the north strip (TI, Venetian, Wynn) on a leftward view.

Staff is very proactive and eager to help. The lobby is empty compared to Conrad, which is incredibly busy. I don't like that you have to walk through the mini-Crockfords casino to get to the main casino; I usually just walk through Conrad instead. (Looked like a bunch of HL bac tables when I peeked in, and I saw HL slots on the other side.)

2 Night Crockfords Free Night Certs / 1 Night Conrad FHR

2 Nights Crockfords using free night certificate
-Checked in at the Crockfords lobby, given benefits info for Diamonds $25/pp Food/Beverage credit. Specifically saying only usable at Suns Out Buns Out and The Kitchen. Received welcome drink (tea)
-Given basic room with non-strip view. Comes with a mini-bar and fridge that you can put your own items in. Nespresso Machine and typical toiletries.
-The lights are a pain in the ... to use. No proper desk. Room is kind of bare to be honest. Bathroom is nice, but the shower water pressure was very low.

1 Night Conrad FHR
- Given FHR benefits $33/pp for breakfast credit. Specifically saying ONLY at The Kitchen. Rep did mention that the Diamond Benefits $25/pp are on top of it which can be used at any restaurant except Brezza. FHR also included $125 food/beverage credit at any restaurant except Brezza.
- FHR also comes with 2 vouchers for sparkling wine at the Conrad Bar.
- Given basic room with Strip View. These rooms DO NOT come with a coffee machine, you must get a suite to receive one...cheap asses.
- Room is bare with a slight lower step in quality compared to Crockfords.

Just in my opinion. I think Conrad really diluted their brand at this hotel. How does a "luxury" hotel NOT have a coffee machine, but if the Conrad is cheaper than the Crockfords, they are basically the same room. At least the basic rooms. No idea about the suites.

Was able to stay one night to check the property out last week on a FHR rate. Overall, really impressed with the one-bedroom suite, even though the view sucked. However, I was placed in the "Crockfords West" tower, which is such a hilariously long journey from the Crockford's lobby it was worth including in my video. Was upgraded as a Diamond in the app, first time seeing that in the wild since they premiered the feature last month.

I think the Diamond credit, which I was told could be used at Kitchen, Suns Out, Buns Out, and room service, should be useable at any F+B outlet at the hotel. Defeats the purpose of the new flexible credit (well, besides saving properties money). I think that not having the infinity pool open during the winter for Crockfords guests, since it's an advertised benefit, is a bit scammy. Service at the hotel was great.

No I did not. Hh does not charge rf as per their official rules on cert or award stay.
You don't have to show them anything to get the free continental breakfast in their lobby. It consisted of pastries, cakes, teas, coffees, danishes, cookies and macarons. No cold cuts or meats or berries. It's served at the bar directly across checkin. Another user said that they did not see it so maybe they discontinued it?

I am so absolutely jealous! I called in to see what kind of welcome gift they offer to diamond members in hopes that they even do a FRACTION of what they've done for you! They know it's my bday and anniversary as they had mentioned it to me each time I called so here's hoping that they either get me a suite or a cute little welcome gift. It's super bowl weekend though... so we shall see.
