I've stayed at both now a few times and while WA is my normal goto I just switched an upcoming WA booking to Crockfords while in the middle of a current Crockfords stay (FHR rate is 50% less). WA is much quieter and if the wind isn't blowing I prefer the WA pool/service and their lobby Sky Bar. At Resorts World I've found if you want decent pool service you have to book the VIP pool. For me, Crockfords is the first hotel-casino I actually like staying at but that being said avoid the Conrad - I tried it once and it's a zoo and looks to be an absolute zoo again this weekend.

I've stayed at WA twice and will be (I think) staying for the first time at Crockfords in September.
I like the location of the WA but it's rather boring. While it's not a big deal to walk to either Aria or Park MGM to gamble, it's not as convenient as having a casino in house.
We'll be staying at Crockfords more out of curiosity than anything else. Using up a FNC on a one-night stay.
I believe Crockfords has a private pool for their guests only? Is there a fee to us it? I've read conflicting reports.
The other thing that worries me is reading about how weird the lights are - all off or all on. We had trouble figuring out Aria, too, but we're technologically challenged.

good idea. We chose Crockford and wish we hadn’t. The hotel itself is beautiful but the service and staff is definitely not at the level of a true luxury hotel they try to be. And, the location is not conducive to being in the middle of action. The Kitchen as well as the food court is sub par food. Wish we is gone with WA.

Good Day,
Would you mind letting me know what room/floor you stayed on?
I would like to personally check the coverage in that area. I can tell you the property has the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology and we pride ourselves on the coverage and speed.
Thank you,
Alex

The room I stayed in was 60181. After my experiences of the WiFi, I did search the reviews of the hotel and found several other people having issues with WiFi as well. Not sure if it's just in certain area or something. Please keep me posted on what you find out, would like a future stay plan here but WiFi issue is a dealbreaker for me

I stayed at crockfords and thought it was very underwhelming, especially considering the price is normally almost double that of the conrad. The room layout was nearly identical to a standard room at conrad. Even the amenities in the bathroom were the same. The room had VERY minor improvements over the conrad. Blinds were electronic, TV had a soundbar, 2 free bottled waters and coffee. The crockfords also had real room service available, but the menu didn't list any prices. The room also came with one of those massage guns, completely random thing to have. The wifi speed was abysmal. Watching youtube or netflix was slooowww. The lobby was definitely less crowded compared to conrad. Service wasn't better than conrad. It was actually much worst in some aspects. Not only did I not get early checkin, they didn't have my room ready until 530pm. I was guaranteed a late checkout through my amex booking. On the day of my checkout, I had staff knock on my door at around 10am asking when I would be checking out. I told them I had late checkout and the staff member told me to call the front desk to confirm and that he didn't want me ending up paying extra. So I wasted my time calling to double check, and yes the front desk person confirmed I had free late checkout. Still, I had a person come knock on my door and check again at around 12 asking when I would be checking out. Seems like really poor communication amongst the staff. But wait thats not all, I had a staff member check up on me a THIRD time, while I was in the bathroom. They rang the doorbell, I wasn't able to answer the door, but they decided to come into the room anyways. Yes, I had the door not disturb on the entire time. The person quickly left the room once they heard I was in the bathroom. Never had such a terrible experience.

I'm not one to skeeve much, but that seems... oddly unsanitary. Did you note any efforts made (or claimed) to clean between its rubbing around the previous guest's... massagable areas?

I wanted to really like this property. So far, I just don't feel it. I finally got to "visit" it in my recent Vegas stay. Didn't go into a room, but I'm sure the pictures tell the story quite well. Most of my Vegas stays have been at the Venetian. Those rooms are just way better. They have that feel that you're in Vegas, not some small hotel room. Back to RW. I don't care much for the location either. It is a hike to walk anywhere. For being "on the strip" a 33 minute walk to even Caesar's Palace is quite far. The shopping area of RW feels off too. It might be me. I just don't feel like the space is used properly. I don't see the upper floors getting enough love in the future either. I did really enjoy the food court though. Really cool theme there.
It seems like this is largely being praised from special lotions, "free food", and special services. I'll stick with Venetian over those trivial things.

Welcome to FlyerTalk justsomerandomguy and thanks for the report. Regarding Crockfords room rate, I think it varies: sometimes nearly double Conrad but other times openly available for only $20 more than Conrad. I agree with Friendly Traveling Deathmerchant that Conrad is often the best deal in the RW complex. For a stay in August I was able to book Crockfords on Amex FHR for less than Conrad so I will give it a try. And in answer to Eujeanie , "better food & beverage dollars" likely refers to Conrad's $25 F&B credit compared to Hilton's $15 and yes AFAIK the F&B establishments at RW are all generic, none hotel specific. When booking Crockfords using FHR, the F&B credit is even higher (I believe $38). Unfortunately, it seems that the RW hotels try to limit the F&B credits to just the two breakfast spots (Kitchen & Suns/Buns) which is annoying and contrary to Hilton's policies.

The whole resorts world feels like a missed opportunity. The food court sounds like a cool idea, but I've tried most of the food stalls and they were all pretty mediocre and overpriced. The proper restaurants were not any better. The breakfast spot was always busy, probably people using their credits. The food there was very limited, I was actually surprised how limited the menu was. No french roast or waffles? The hell. The knockoff eggslut restaurant was decent in comparison. It was also an easy place to use up my credits, I bought a lot of bottled waters. Saved me a trip to CVS. Wally's was pretty good, if I stay here again, I would probably use the 100$ credit there. The whole shopping area felt very empty. Very little foot traffic, most of the shops were empty. With this whole asian ownership group thing going on, how does this shopping mall area not have any high end designer brands. I didn't recognize any of the brands. Surely they know their customers wan't gucci/LV/hermes/etc.. I feel like they will have to refresh this place in a few years with some new stores and restaurants.
