I am staying there for 5 nights in September. I don't think I've seen any pictures of the bathrooms there yet - still just the one picture per room type available on the site.

Currently in a Conrad room facing the pool and strip. So far no recognition/acknowledgement or benefits as a Diamond. Thanks TBS.

Resorts World guests frustrated after reservation snafu at luxury hotel | Las Vegas Review-Journal (reviewjournal.com)

Oh boy! Crockfords guests not finding out until check-in that their reservations were canceled and transferred to the Conrad.

And it's unbelievable that they are charging people MORE even though it is Hilton's fault!

And, big surprise, Hilton is saying it is Resort World's fault and not helping the guests.

Exactly why I have no interest in being “first” for these types of things.

Yeah, when I got to that line in the article

"A Hilton representative referred a comment request to Resorts World.
“Resorts World Las Vegas is an independently owned and operated property and we cannot speak on the hotel’s behalf,” the representative wrote in an email."

...I was like "Oh snap. THAT'S gonna leave a mark."

If I booked flights, cars, etc. to come to the hotel based on the data of the opening, and wasn't even told of the bungle on their part -- at the highest flagship of the brand -- and offered some real compensation... uh. That's not gonna be good.

Then to see a pass-the-buck "Ain't my fault" reply on an LXR goof? Geez, that honeymoon just ended.

If I was flying Delta or United airlines and there was a huge their-fault snafu, and the company I booked the ticket with, where my credit card charge says the money went to secure that reservations said "Oh, that's not us, that's our contractor, SkyWest. Yeah, bummer that happened. Maybe they'll give you economy-plus next time you pay for a full price ticket"

Umm... unsat.
I guess I'm watching this train wreck from the sidelines with interest because I had planned on going down to stay there over opening weekend. I was at the Curio Virgin opening, had a great time. I went to the Waldorf-Astoria Vegas early opening... that was okay. This? I guess I'm glad I was doing something else this weekend.

Even if Resorts World owns the whole shebang and Hilton is just a franchisee of the 3 hotel properties (hope I have that right?), what bad taste in the mouths of these guests do you think they will remember? Hilton, of course.

Walking someone is understandable, but the guest ends up with compensation, NOT paying more!!

Something I saw on twitter. First look at a Crockfords Suite; the Crockfords part starts at 1:53:30.

Thanks for that, pzp, but honestly for a suite it looked pretty standard. I'm sure they must have the really high roller's ones someplace hidden away, can't believe that was the top. Who is this Bub with the hat wandering at will? Makes you wonder about their security in general, too. I hope the standard rooms have the TOTO toilets, always wanted to try them out!
