Yes. QR codes from all EU countries have the same format and the "TousAntiCovid Verif" app (which businesses use to check the pass sanitaire) will read it without problem. You can actually try it yourself by downloading the app in the store and scanning your QR code.

It's also not any help for tourists and.. if this is the method they choose for tourists I am concerned with "turn around " time which is why I expect they have not opened it up to tourists.

In Paris right now

Went to the Eiffel tower and various restaurants and stores. No concerns at all, the tower asked to see our CDC cards but that one time only.

I am a tourist but I qualify under one of the loopholes. We should have our paperwork ready by the end of the day and then submit it. (They require a separate email for each person. How they connect them is beyond me.)

Unfortunately, there is a lot of confusion and no one to call although there is an email address for questions which they answer. Sometimes, as with a number of things in France in may be better not to ask. For example, if you are using your telephone bill as proof of residence, should you obtain a certified translation of the bill?

What are the "loopholes" to qualify for the health pass with QR code? We are arriving saturday August 6.

Family of a French citizen with whom you are travelling is one that comes to mind.

Thank you. Yes, it seems that every option to get a QR code that was released yesterday requires a French national family member traveling with you.
Enjoy your trip and thanks for the info!

Note however that their web site says it's only for French citizens "for the moment." So sounds like after they are done with the French they will open up for non-French...

I think so, but maybe they should do what Italy did and list that they accept the proof issued for other countries and list those countries. It would give travelers peace of mind knowing they can travel and not have to worry about getting a QR code. I have seen the flight loads change when restrictions went into effect, so that means people are postponing their vacations, or going somewhere else.

Is there any French app to enter Canadian vaccine records as images or pdf to be used in France during travels?

Oh I wish this thread had a wiki! I'm traveling to Paris for a weekend in November. Is there a website one can visit to apply and pay for a health pass?

Thank you!

Received this regarding a SCNF train booking I have for Friday

"Hello,

We'd like to confirm your train 5450 on 06/08/2021. It will run as scheduled between MARNE LA VALLEE CHESSY and BORDEAUX SAINT JEAN stations.

We inform you that your journey onboard our TGV and INTERCITES the le 06/08/2021 will not be concerned by the Pass Sanitaire. Do check the Gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus site for more details."

One more data point

The short answer to your question is no, but I will synthesize the current information in this thread for you and others to explain:

First, many of your questions as to what a "health pass" actually are addressed here: https://www.gouvernement.fr/en/coronavirus-covid-19
Importantly:

Passes can be digital (on the TousAntiCovid app) or in paper form (proof of vaccination or test result). They include a QR code that will be scanned on entry into the venue or event..
To use TousAntiCovid currently , you must upload a EU-compatible QR code from a test result or vaccination certificate.
If you were vaccinated in the US, there is no website you can use. As of this week, French nationals and those in their household may submit a form to get their CDC vaccination cards essentially "converted." The French government has said it will eventually expand this to others.

Previously, people were going to pharmacies and/or vaccine sites and getting staff there to effectively do the same thing, but it appears the French government has put a stop to that.

If you have a CDC vaccination card, many places are considering that a "health pass" even though it does not have a QR code.

This is an evolving situation. If you are not traveling til November, there is likely no information anyone can give you right now that will be relevant to your trip..

(And yes, this may be oversimplified, but its an evolving situation but since you are not traveling for three months, the details are irrelevant.)
