Got notification that our Eurostar seats have been changed and we will not be allowed to leave our car nor be served food/drink. BYO is ok.

France to England tomorrow - I assume we’re in the “Amber” coach.

There seems to be confusion about what a "pass sanitaire" is. It is not one specific thing.
When you check in for your flights, you will be required to produce proof of vaccination or testing, as it is necessary to enter the country. You will then be required to produce that documentation upon entering France. You will then proceed to the gate for your next flight. https://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/pass...engers#arrivee |

Thank you. Does the pass sanitaire not apply to domestic flights?

I've been quietly following along on this thread (in anticipation of a planned trip at the beginning of September). The French Embassy in the US just tweeted out an interview given by the French Secretary of State of Tourism where he states that a system for converting tourist foreign vaccination certificates to EU acceptable QR codes will be coming in the next few days. I realize this isn't really new information, but it is at least one more high-level source promising something soon...

Just got this email from Flixbus:
"From August 9, the health pass will be compulsory on board our buses in France for all adults. You will have to be able to show either: A PCR test of less than 72 hours A positive RT-PCR or antigenic test result showing recovery of Covid-19, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old. Having received your 2nd injection at least one week ago" It doesn't say exactly how you need to show the above, though. |
I've been travelling through southern France over last few days, and anywhere the health pass is needed and they're scanning everyone else's QR code, I was just waved through with the briefest of glances at my CDC card. I have yet to hear even a single instance of denied entry across forums with CDC card.
So any tourist planning on coming should relax, but make a few scanned copies of your CDC card so that if you lose it you're not shut out of things. My concern today was getting my card wet as I took it out to show a museum while it was drizzling |

The new information is the timing, which is a rather important thing. Does he actually say "next few days"?

Went to the Eiffel tower and various restaurants and stores. No concerns at all, the tower asked to see our CDC cards but that one time only.

To be honest, I didn't actually watch the video all the way through (my French is a bit rusty), but was rather quoting the Embassy's Press Advisor (who in turn was quoting the Secretary of State for Tourism) who the Embassy retweeted.
Pascal Confavreux on Twitter: "🚨🚨For our American friends, our minister JBLemoyne has a message regarding vaccination certificates when you fly to France : “a dedicated team will convert your vaccination certificate into 🇪🇺QR codes. Will be up and running in a few days”. Stay tuned for more info!" / Twitter |

FWIW (French citizen here), I sent the pass sanitaire request with all the required documentation on Monday at 8pm French time and I received my QR code on Tuesday at 2pm French time. It's clearly a manual process for now, as evidenced by the fact they mixed up my first and last name in the QR code (but I doubt that'll ever be an issue).

You would think that except the phrase "pour le moment" in France can sometimes equate to 100 years or so.

On entry into Disneyland Paris August 3, they were scanning QR codes but we were waved in with a "You're good" using our CDC card
