If that's the case, it won't work. The Biden administration has made clear that this is not important to them. Nothing the EU does or says will change that.

They won't be banning travel. This email I just received from AF for a flight next week is how they are dealing with it. And more vaccine marketing.

Interesting, to say the least. Do you mind if I ask when you are going and the routing? I'm going JFK-CDG on 8/16 and all they have written me (today), was please add your passports to the "file."

A little bit of good news for those unable to convert their certificates into the pass sanitaire. Media is reporting that the government has announced today that negative tests performed will now be valid for 72 hrs instead of 48 hrs originally. (It was always set for 72hrs for travel, but they extended this for all other places as well.)

UPDATE: We received our QR codes this morning, less than 48 hours after submission. You get a separate email for each person which contains a PDF. You then scan the QR code into the Tous Anti COVID app.
If there is anyone else here in a French-American family, who has a question, feel free to ask. Can you tell me where you found the form? Thank you |
The tourist one doesn't appear to be loaded yet. The process is now clear but the application form is not yet up. Need to be traveling by Aug 15th for this batch apparently

When they opened it up to French nationals a week ago, it took an hour or so for the form to become available so expect something similar here as well.
|
FWIW I sent in my form to the US East coast address back on Monday and never heard back.
But I don't expect to need a pass sanitaire anytime soon so I'm not stressing. |
