I have yet to hear even a single instance of denied entry across forums with CDC card.
So any tourist planning on coming should relax, but make a few scanned copies of your CDC card so that if you lose it you're not shut out of things. My concern today was getting my card wet as I took it out to show a museum while it was drizzling
I have heard of denials with just the CDC card at the Rodin Museum so YMMV.
