Okay. No run to the airport tonight then. Btw, do they still have those few 30 min free parking spots on P floor? It's probably been 10 years since I've last used them.
Let's hope this mess is because of a heavily overbooked Y on an elite-light flight so tomorrow at the counter, they'll give us new seats in J

To ensure proper hydration for the flight, how about meeting in the premium lounge before the bus ride? Gate 36G...

Due to operational reasons Finnair flights to/from Samara between 17 January and 26 March 2017 have been cancelled.

New winter schedules promoted today.
http://news.cision.com/finnair/r/fin...es-to,c2168884
Am I reading that right that they will go 10 weekly to HKG but no CAN at all?
A lot of "news" but not so many new destinations. They claim "In line with its growth strategy, Finnair has announced.. ", but it is mostly same old charter destinations that re-appear. All just seasonal capacity.
SIN will however be daily year-around.

For me, nothing interesting in those "new" destinations except for HAV, which I have wanted to visit for a very long time. Now there's really no excuse not to.
Is anyone familiar with the current restrictions for US-Cuba-travel? There are scheduled flights, and you need to meet certain criteria when leaving the US for Cuba. But are those flights for US citizens only, like the charters were?
1. Would AY sell me a HEL-HAV / MIA-HEL open jaw?
2. Would AA sell me a HAV-MIA scheduled flight? Perhaps even combinable to the same ticket?
3. If #1 is a yes and #2 is a no, then would US immigration give me hell for flying from, say, Nassau to Miami and have in my pocket a ticket back home that includes HAV in the itinerary?
Now we just wait for an announcement of the HAV route being wetleased to CU due to AY pilot training, operated by a "state-of-the art Il-96 aircraft".

2/ I don't know - why don't you call AA?
3/ Again, why should they make any fuss? OTOH, with CBP USA you never know. But you made nothing illegal, even under US law.

AY has become pretty stingy with OJs, but I dug out the fare rules (RHBA2FI) and it seems pretty relaxed. You should be able to do pretty much whatever you like in area 1 as long as you stick to AY:
OPEN JAWS
FARES MAY BE COMBINED ON A HALF ROUND TRIP BASIS
-TO FORM SINGLE OR DOUBLE OPEN JAWS.
OPEN JAWS NOTE -
THE MOST RESTRICTIVE CONDITIONS APPLY WHEN
COMBINING FARES ON THE HALF ROUND TRIP BASIS.
PROVIDED -
WHEN THE OPEN SEGMENT OCCURS
-WITHIN AREA 1 OR WITHIN AREA 2 COMBINATIONS ARE
WITH ANY FARE FOR CARRIER AY WITH ANY RULE IN ANY
PUBLIC TARIFF.
