Yeah, the AY site sucks. Try OTAs. If they're US based, they might not offer it but otherwise it seems to be okay. Approx. €945 for the open jaw.

Tested a return from JFK for the inaugural HAV flight, no problems:

Looks like HAV is not a part of JV so it may offer something nice for 100% Value ticket hunters.

Thanks. Decided to go for MIA r/t instead of OJ, partly because the price (528€) was suprisingly good for high season (outbound just before New Year). OTOH, it's economy campaign, so not that many points this time.

There were plenty of upgrade space available, so good use for my vouchers when upgrading the whole family.

Just keep in mind that AY exclusively uses the truly awful concourse F at MIA.

Its characteristics include a "bottleneck" style security check in a narrow corridor resulting in sometimes huge queues, no shopping or restaurants apart from one tiny duty free, a Pizza Hut take away counter and a shabby beer bar and limited seating space so pax regularly have to stand or sit on the floor while waiting for flights.

MIA can be quite a good experience but not when flying AY.

My AY8 this month left from concourse E. I wonder if that's temporary as the flight is wetleased from IB and IB operates out of concourse E. OTOH, the new late night departure time means there's plenty of capacity at concourse E so perhaps AY is there to stay?

While the concourse itself is more or less like F with a tiny DF shop and Pizza Hut, security and the lounge are better than at F.

Switched then, maybe due to the use of IB metal as stated. Anything is better than Concourse F, the latter probably being the worst international terminal in North America.

I was on AY8 in mid-December, and it was already then in E-concourse which was absolutely wonderful as F must be the dingiest airport concourse in the western hemisphere..!

E90? Wow. Compare this to mid-1990s when AY scheduled DC-10 to SVO.

How many daily flights? For me four flights per day is very convenient.
