I don’t know the answer what comes to PVR but the crew don’t stay a whole week at least in SGN where AY also flies once a week only. On a flight to SGN, I was told that one bunch of a crew flies HEL-BKK-SGN-HEL and another one HEL-SGN-BKK-HEL, staying one night both in BKK and SGN. There might be similar arrangement in PVR, too. Someone who has exact facts can tell us more about this.

I've been baffled by the lack of Chinese (including HK) CX/KA codeshare on AY flights for quite a while now.
Generally don't understand how/why AY is getting into codeshare deals with all sorts of Asian airlines, flying to destinations, where the alliance partner CX/KA is also flying. For me would make a lot more sense to codeshare with them, instead of selling tickets of Jetstar Asia, Hong Kong Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, etc., etc.)

On my EU flight last week, I chatted with lovely Air Hostess about upcoming flights and she told that next she was going to Cuba (this week) and said it will be one week in Cuba.

I cant answer that. Maybe some people like that and some not. If you have a family and small kids in Finland, 7 days is a long time to arrange who takes care and what.
But for me holiday is timeline when I decide myself where I stay and what I do. It's not waiting for a next shift with restrictions and with a colleague in a same room and in a destination told by your employer. No no!
